Neither did the East Prussians.Isn't there rather a difference here? The Crimean Tatars didn't send panzer divisions to the gates of Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad!

Volksdeutsche not only served in the German army, and even the Waffen-SS, but took part in the Holocaust! Read the book Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning.Neither did the East Prussians.
Yes, of course the Germans found recruits and draftees among the Volksdeutsche. But the majority were just civilians. They did nothing to deserve being driven out of their homes after the war. Same with the Pals.Volksdeutsche not only served in the German army, and even the Waffen-SS, but took part in the Holocaust! Read the book Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning.
Perhaps. On the other hand, demanding that the people who were viciously attacked (whether on 22 June 1941 or on 7 October 2023) take on the task of sorting through who were "more deserving" and who were "less deserving" seems rather insulting, isn't it?Yes, of course the Germans found recruits and draftees among the Volksdeutsche. "Expel them all!" is not an acceptable answer.Perhaps. We both know Trump has caused and will cause more damage in the world.Trump being worse than Hamas by any reasonable judgement? Go troll somewheres' else with your delusional bullshit.
HOW!!! FFS; please explain to all how Trump has caused or is going to cause more damage in the world. Don't give me the tariffs bullshit, that's all reactionary. We both know Trump has caused and will cause more damage in the world.
He hasn't a clue. It comes in here and make all encompassing statements with no real supporting evidence, just opinion. It reminds me of a precocious 4 yr, old.HOW!!! FFS; please explain to all how Trump has caused or is going to cause more damage in the world. Don't give me the tariffs bullshit, that's all reactionary.
Consider the Jews who lived in Gaza for thousands of years. It was in an attempt to secure a lasting peace that all of those Jews were removed. This seemed quite "acceptable" to the Moslems, didn't it?"Expel them all!" is not an acceptable answer.
The tariffs are a problem, of course, especially considering how the USA has grown so rich in the post WWII era as worldwide trade grew so much when trade barriers were lowered. Does the USA really want to reverse that? But there is just so much else, from the firing of nuclear watchdogs to the hints that the Ukraine will be sold out, to the discontinuing of programs to fight disease in other countries (Remember the COVID pandemic? It didn't start in the USA, but it killed a lot of people there!) to the weird behaviour towards Canada, Mexico, the Middle East, NATO etc etc etcHOW!!! FFS; please explain to all how Trump has caused or is going to cause more damage in the world. Don't give me the tariffs bullshit, that's all reactionary.
I’ll answer, but how much time do you have cos the list is long. But… for sake of sparing time, my one quick answer to your question is: Tariffs.HOW!!! FFS; please explain to all how Trump has caused or is going to cause more damage in the world. Don't give me the tariffs bullshit, that's all reactionary.
For one thing, he's going to be directly responsible for a lot of deaths in Ukraine!HOW!!! FFS; please explain to all how Trump has caused or is going to cause more damage in the world. Don't give me the tariffs bullshit, that's all reactionary.
If we weren't 36 trillion in debt I'd agree with you. Tons of spending went into providing a protective umbrella over Europe. The gravy train is over. We helped rebuild Europe after WWII. We also pretty much financed NATO for years. Why should we allow German cars into the US with minimal tariffs and yet our autos are tariffed at 10%The tariffs are a problem, of course, especially considering how the USA has grown so rich in the post WWII era as worldwide trade grew so much when trade barriers were lowered.
Tariffs are both reactionary, reciprocal and will be adjusted accordingly.Does the USA really want to reverse that? But there is just so much else, from the firing of nuclear watchdogs to the hints that the Ukraine will be sold out, to the discontinuing of programs to fight disease in other countries (Remember the COVID pandemic? How is he going to be directly responsible for Ukraine deaths??? He wants to bring an end to the war and save lives. He pushing for Europeans to purchase more weapons systems for Ukraine's defense and absorbing more of the cost. He's talking to Putin to set a foundation for future talks. He doesn't want Europeans and Zelensky there for now, too many cooks could spoil the brew. No agreements or treaties will be agreed upon till the Zelensky and the Europeans have their say. Have to start somewhere. And yes Putin is a bad guy, we know that and he also has 5000+ ,nuclear warheads, so whether we like it or not we have to deal with him. If Putin is obstinate and disagreeable the weapons will flow including long range missiles and a whole host of modern equipment, Putin will suffer extreme sanctions. Providing LNG to Europe will hurt Russia's economy. For one thing, he's going to be directly responsible for a lot of deaths in Ukraine!
On the other hand, after the Reagan Revolution the USA had balanced budgets and even surpluses and had begun to pay down the debt. It was the fault of the flaky baby-boomer politicians following him that you're in such straits. And by the way, the USA's debt load, as a ratio to GDP, is comparable to other industrialized nations, and smaller than many.If we weren't 36 trillion in debt I'd agree with you. Tons of spending went into providing a protective umbrella over Europe. The gravy train is over. We helped rebuild Europe after WWII. We also pretty much financed NATO for years. Ukraine doesn't have the population to win a war of attrition. It needs to end.
He's going to demand peace on terms Ukraine will never accept, and he might end military aid when it doesn't.How is he going to be directly responsible for Ukraine deaths???
Most of which you owe to Americans. If we weren't 36 trillion in debt I'd agree with you.
Mostly rich Americans who hold bonds and T-bills.Most of which you owe to Americans.

But if you read here, most MAGA "think"debt is owed to foreigners. Mainly the Chinese, but that isn't the case. The US debt is a function of the budget choices, and right now the US is in noway close to being unable to pay it off.Mostly rich Americans who hold bonds and T-bills.
