I feel like such a newbie. I don't know which I like better yet. We've only used an old belt and a serious whip. I do enjoy the spanking though.

What you use is not nearly as important as how it's used, and how the participants feel about the uses and the effects. Don't worry about bein' a newbie, either - we were all there at some point

Yuppers! They do make pretty good cane substitutes Also in that category is automobile radio antennae. They can go from teasing toy to downright vicious, even moreso than a standard cane, because of the density of the metal rod.

Well, I'm certainly a novice wielder of the cane. But frankly I have no great desire to master it - like I said it's not that satisfying to me because when I'm using it the whole deal becomes about the object of the cane or her craving to test herself, although that's a good thing in general because she's hungry to go further than I have gone before with other girlfriends. Maybe that's a psychological hangup on my part, but that's the way it is.

The crop and my black leather belt (I have a black belt in black leather belts ;-) are much more satisfying to me, and she loves them just fine too. The cane is a rare request (or provocation) she makes when she is in that "I dare you to push my limits" mood.

i have never had a cane used on me but i love a crop... the only thing i have found that i HATE so far is a fake belt.. one of those cheap walmart belts that is not plastic or leather the sting was intence and very strange didnt like it at all

I am surely no expert in this area, but I find the riding crop and the cane about equal in pain, with the stripes from the riding crop more distinctly etched across my ass. For the finest punishment and the longest lasting bruises and pain, I choose a wide leather strap. Four well delivered lashes from Lady C's strap turned my entire behind purple and for days after my whipping, I was reminded of it whenever I sat down or whenever some slapped my ass....which Lady C encouraged everyone to do.

I love both of them. My play partner will start with the crop then move to the cane and then move back to the crop again.....oh that reminds me to give him a call. The weekend is just around the corner again.....

I love them both, but I prefer a wide leather strap across my ass and the backs of my thighs. The blows often over lap adding to the delicious pain and the purple welts seem to last longer, and showing off her welts makes this little cunt happy.

Lady C's use of either a bamboo cane or a riding crop does wonders for my desire to be punished by a beautiful, demanding woman, but I turned on to a greater degree by the 4" wide leather strap she uses on occasion. Four or five lashes with it will cover my behind with a lovely purple welts which with continue to hurt for three or four days.
