Former Philippine President Duterte has been arrested by current President Marcos and transferred overnight to the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands. This phenomenon is really rare! The court has been clamoring to arrest Putin and Netanyahu, as well as the leaders of Sudan, but Russia, Israel, and Sudan have completely ignored it.

As an ally of the United States in the South China Sea, the Philippines recently announced its intention to join NATO. Unexpectedly, such a big chaos has arisen domestically now. As the former president who elected the current president to power, and as the father of the current vice president, he was betrayed. Its domestic supporters will definitely not give up easily. It is normal for the Philippines to experience internal strife and even civil war in the future.

Take a look at a while ago, another ally of the United States, South Korea, which was also acting like a damn idiot, went through a round of chaos. First, the president mobilized troops to block the parliament, and then the opposition leader demanded the president to step down and imprisoned President Yoon Suk yeol.

A few days ago, the Chinese navy also arrived near Australia and launched two missiles, which responded well to the Australian navy's previous claim of freedom of navigation at sea. The next day, Australia became much more obedient, carefully reflecting on China's warm reminders and objectively evaluating the strength of the Chinese navy.

The United States relies on such garbage allies in East Asia and Southeast Asia to contain China, which seems to be of little use.

You have convinced me:

The U.S. should nuke China.

The American empire imposed a veneer of democracy on satellite nations to claim it is doing some good for the world, instead of being just another empire like the one it fought to escape. Now it is in decline and satellite nations are starting to drop the veneer. The Philippines could revert to something more like a traditional Filipino government for a while, as it drops the last of the Spanish influence and becomes entirely Asian again.

And given Trump's obvious transactional tendancies, and his walking out on Ukraine, NATO and probably Taiwan, Australia is likely to be rethinking both its reliance on the USA and it's purchase of those American nuclear subs. My guess is Austalia will opt for a more neutral position with regard to China, and align more with NATO, paricularly if the EU and China begin to build closer ties.

And New Zealand will go whereever Australia goes....

The controversial former president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, has been arrested over claims of crimes against humanity.

The government said he was detained on an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant when he landed in Manila on Tuesday. Current president Bongbong Marcos Jr, who took over in 2022, has not re-joined the ICC. However, he said he would cooperate if his predecessor was put under an Interpol "red notice" - a request for police anywhere in the world to arrest a suspect.

Late on Tuesday night, Duterte’s youngest daughter, Veronica Duterte said that her father has been taken by police and put on a plane. Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr later told the news media that the plane carrying Duterte took off at 11:03pm (1503 GMT) bound for The Hague. “The plane is en route to The Hague in The Netherlands, allowing the former president to face charges of crimes against humanity in relation to his bloody war on drugs,” Marcos said. Until Duterte’s arrest on Tuesday, Marcos Jr had repeatedly rejected the ICC’s jurisdiction over the Philippines and on the Duterte case, famously saying that he considers the international body “a threat” to the country’s sovereignty.

And of course it's all about internal Phillipines politics

When Marcos Jr sought the presidency in 2022, he ran on a ticket with Duterte’s daughter, Sara Duterte, winning a landslide victory on a promise of continuing the elder Duterte’s policy. But their alliance began to crumble when supporters of the Duterte family called for Marcos Jr’s removal, following the arrest of Apollo Quiboloy, an influential pastor and spiritual adviser of former President Duterte. Their political union finally broke up, after Vice President Sara Duterte was investigated for alleged misuse of millions of dollars in government funds, and was impeached by Marcos Jr’s allies in Congress in late 2024. She remains vice president, however, despite the impeachment. Since then, the two camps have been engaged in an all-out political combat in the run-up midterm elections in May.

You are outdated in historic knowledge. But I will not blame you, considering you are from a country outside Africa without Department of Education.

Your Five star hotel general MacArthur had attempted to use that last resort in the Korean War but was halted by his boss Mr. Truman, because he was an educated man and did not want to go to hell with this crazy GI man.

It’s nice to know that China is still smarting over losing South Korea.

In international exchanges, strength is always the foundation for upholding justice, national defense is the true backing of diplomacy. Dignity is only on the edge of the sword. Truth is only within the range of cannons!

My primitive interpretation of the above is "Might is right!"
It’s nice to know that China is still smarting over losing South Korea.
History is written by later generations.
Everyone likes to report good news but leave out bad news.
Every country has its own various euphemisms.
There is no doubt that the failures of the United States in North Korea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan will not be classified as failures in the official documents or in the history to be taught to the younger generations, just like the Chinese football that cannot be failure but always stay glorious even after losing to Japan with an unprecedentedly humiliating 7:0 in the FIFA World Cup qualifier game in Asia.
By the same logic, the sweat shed and feces made by beautiful women or celebrities are invariably fragrant, at least different from the same of the ordinary people.
Anyone who has received normal 9-year compulsory education knows the above very well, so I won't explain them one by one here.

I feel so sorry for you…

You would probably be better off if the U.S. nuked China.

It would be better than living like the mindless drone that you have obviously become.

Thank you for your concern! But it is more tongue-in-cheek than sincere。 I'll beat you to half death first, and then I'll apply medicine to you. The yellow weasel pays New Year's greetings to the chicken, it's unkind。

Fortunately, the button for the nuclear weapon is not in your hands。The last A-bomb explosions of your country took place in Japan 80 years ago, but the same of China happened in 1960s, so in terms of technology, yours may not be as useful and efficient. Your ChatGPT is inferior to our DeepSeek, something like that.

Would you show us your vote in the past presidential election so that we can check if you are a person of strong influence that can determine the history of the USA?

If your vote is no more than a piece of crap paper, then why do you feel sorry about somebody whom you have never seen or met in real life?

Many years ago, a great writer of your country wrote:"The foregoing generations beheld God and nature face to face, we, through their eyes. Why should not we also enjoy an original relation to the universe? Why should we grope among the dry bones of the past, or put the living generation into masquerade out of its faded wardrobe?"

You are welcome to visit China to get the firsthand information about this country, like many of your fellow countrymen have done. After that, I think you will have the impression of your own.

As the citizen of the No. 1 country in the world or in the universe, you don't tell me you cannot afford the airplane fare from your home to China. I will take you to the night market to enjoy some local rice noodle that you cannot have in the US but you will not forget once you eat. It will be on my treat, don't worry.

The Philippine is a good producer of babysitters or housekeepers.

Their quality is much better than the same of many countries.

If you travel to Hong Kong, where they are hired in large number by local households, you will see there are many of them sitting by the roadside chatting and having fun with each other on weekends.

Now many Chinese families have employed these cheap but good servants from the neighboring country. They know what they are, working in the house of the hosts, and would not act as if they are a semi-master as many of their peers of China, who would freely enjoy the big house and the TV and the beer or ice creams in the fridge, or even ask for advance payment when there is a holiday.

They can speak good English, even better than many teachers of public schools or private educational institutes in China, so many families can save the fee of this education for their kids.

In a photo of black and white, I found that our great leader Mao Zedong met President Marcos Jr. in Beijing when he was still a teenager, along with his mother, the then First Lady Mrs. Marcos, who was said to own the largest number of shoes in her wardrobe. Mrs. Mao, wife of Chairman Mao, who was an actress of film in Shanghai when the Communist Party was still an weak opposition party, was also interested to become a pretty lady, so they might have exchanged ideas about this sector.

Marcos Jr. at that time looked like a very obedient boy who was harmful to man or beasts but now has become the evil dragon that he might want to kill in his childhood.

Again, I solemnly issue my invitation to Mr. @Lazaran to visit the communist China, so that he can have his face hit hard by the fact that China is not what he sees through the social media or traditional media of the West, especially of the USA, as evidenced by the fact that President Trump and his White House secretary Caroline identify the news media outlets each time before giving answers to their questions. AP and NBC have been confirmed to fake news makers.
