Starting Anew, Seeing a New World (Closed)

"Let's take your car. We can always come back for mine." She said as she leaned a little further against him, pressing her head against his shoulder. "I get the suspicion that you're not going to let me out of your sight any time soon."

Damian smiled slightly but nodded to her, though taking her over to the car, he looked to her as she pressed her head to his shoulder though shrugged as she said that. " You can't really blame me too much... though I will do my best not to put too much stifling pressure on you." He clicked the automatic lock on the door and opening it for her he let her climb in before he was going around to the drivers side.

" Where to?" He asked... she getting to pick today, since well, he was 'letting her' though it was clear he'd definitely be keeping his eye on her as any good lover not to mention master would do!

Evie slipped into the plush seat of his car, watching as Damian moved to get into the driver's seat. She smiled as he offered to let her pick the restaurant. It was a reward of sorts. It was sweet that he was thinking about her.

"How about Charlie's? It's a good bar with beer and burgers." She said as she reached over and took his hand to squeeze it gently.

Damian tried his very best to be thoughtful towards her, and even as she smiled, he nodded to her suggestion.

" that's a great idea..." He smiled as she took his hand and squeezed it, though gently squeezed it back as well before he turned on the car and headed out. Charlie's was a great bar, Damian had been there a few times mostly before he had gotten really busy with the opening of his club, so he was looking forwards to it!

It only took ten minutes to get there but pulling into one of the side streets nearby he parked and headed around to help her out. To say he was feeling protective of her at the moment was definitely an understatement!

Evie noticed how protective Damian was being as he pulled into the side street and opened her door for her. She gave him a smile and didn't make a comment about his over protective nature. Something had happened that was challenging and he simply wanted to make sure that she was alright. She knew that and didn't question him at all.

"You'll go grey worrying about me." She said with a smile as she pressed a kiss to his cheek and allowed him to escort her into the restaurant.

Once they were in the booth at the far end of the bar, she relaxed. It was a release of tension being around him, being protected by her master and lover. She didn't have to worry about much when she was with him.

"We should share an order of fries, but I am getting the messiest burger on the menu." Evie said with a smile.

Damian was her quiet protector... he didn't smother her, but he WAS protective of her which she both certainly did seem to understand as well as not begrudge him.

As she said that though he smirked ever so slightly. " Well then you'll just have to stop making me worry." He teased, though he lead the way, and getting them a nice table to sit at, he looked to her as they were seated.

" All right, but only if the fries come with their house sauce, I haven't been here in forever, but I remember it being amazing." He replied with a grin, though looking through the menu, Damian let the previous altercation 'go'. So long as Josh left her alone, the man would continue walking, but he was reaching the point where Damian WOULD act out with the abusers meddling if it did continue.

For now, he focused on Evie and being with her!

Evie grinned and nodded as he talked about their house sauce. She could agree to that, she thought to herself as the waitress came by and took their order. She put in an order for a cherry limeade and a sunrise burger. Avocado, bacon, and a cooked egg. It sounded delicious and she certainly wanted something to fill her belly and make her happy after the morning that she had. Once Damian had placed his order and the waitress had gone, Evie moved from her seat to sit beside Damian.

"Thank you for coming this morning." Evie murmured as she pressed her lips against his cheek. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Damian smirked when she grinned and agreed to his stipulation, though as the waitress came, Damian ordered a chocolate milkshake along with a blue cheese and caramelized onion burger. Even as she ordered the sunrise burger though Damian had to smirk but he said nothing about her choice. She had said the messiest burger, and he knew that's what she would go for.

As she moved over and thanked him, he smiled slightly but nodded. " I will always come to defend you... besides, it's chivalrous and I for one don't think chivalry is dead." He mused, though as she said the second part he shrugged gently.

" You stood up to him this time... if he continues further though there won't be anymore conversation, I guarantee that." He said it so evenly, the concept of beating Josh up was highly appealing but Damian kept his emotions in check. " I'm just glad that I had my phone with me." He admitted with a gentle smile but sliding a hand around her waist he gave her a gentle squeeze.

"He wasn't always like this." Evie said as Damian placed his arm around her waist and squeezed. "He was nice when I first met him and I thought he was handsome. We clicked immediately. We had a few dates before we decided to explore some BDSM and things went well. I enjoyed it, he seemed safe, and we continued. Then he got darker as time went on. Things at school weren't going well. Things at home were even worse. I think he wanted to try and blame me for a lot of the things in his life going bad."

Evie had never admitted to anyone the whole story between her and Josh. It was painful to think that she had been so gullible and stupid to think that she could help him through what was obviously a mental illness.

"I couldn't even tell my dad what was happening. I know he was worried, but he has his own life to think about. My step mom and her kids deserve a happy life without my drama intruding." She said softly, looking towards Damian as she said that. "They've told me multiple times I could move back in with them. Maybe I'm too stubborn."

Damian nodded quietly, but listened to her as she explained what had transpired. What she described made sense to Damian, mostly because it was how things went sometimes. It didn't make it right by any stretch of the imagination, but to Damian, it did make sense.

" He needed an outlet, and you were it." He mused quietly, though he shook his head slightly. " From what you're telling me it sounds like he didn't want to blame you, he may not have had anyone else to blame, or refused to place the blame where it belonged." He was no psychatrist, but that's what he thought.

As she explained about her father and her family, Damian nodded. " Family always seems to know when somethings wrong, at least when they care." He mused, though he looked to her just as softly as he smiled gently. " You ARE stubborn, but that's a part of who you are, and I wouldn't change that for the world." He impulsively leaned in and kissed her lovingly though pulling back he smirked.

" Besides, you don't seem all that stubborn to me." He pointed out with a gentle and slightly arrogant grin. After all he had seduced and loved her 'easily' in retrospect.

"Well, that's because I have a boyfriend that can use a firm hand with me." Evie said as Damian smirked at her with that slightly cocky glance. "No need to be stubborn when all of the choices have been planned out already."

Evie smiled as the waitress came back with their drinks, placing them down on the table before disappearing again. "You know, I'm happy that the Paris trip was postponed. There's a lot going on right now with the club and then trying to get back into college."

He smiled as she said that, but he nodded ever so slightly. " well you tell me your dreams, and when you do I then feel a desire to make those dreams into reality." He pointed out, though he added with that smirk of his. " Besides, I don't see you complaining about it."

As she admitted that though Damian nodded gently. " I have to admit I was a bit pensive about it myself, we can sort out what's going on with you and the club and when the times right head to Paris for fun." He mused though gave her a loving squeeze as he picked up his drink with his other hand and took a sip easily.

" After this we should go shopping. I don't have anything I need to get done today, and we don't need to rush your passport right now, so I think that could be fun."

"I should tell you to save your money since you just took me shopping, but I guess that I can't say anything to dissuade you." She said with a smile, taking a sip of her drink as Damian drank his shake. "Thank you for taking care of me, sir."

The term of endearment slipped in there, but it felt natural to call him that. She loved him deeply and wanted to show him that she thought about him as both her sweet boyfriend and her even sweet master.

He smirked as she said that, though he shrugged. " You're learning." He teased, but smiled. "Besides, last time was mostly clothing and a little bit of furniture shopping." He mused, though thought about it. Before he could suggest anything though he smiled when she thanked him.

" You're welcome by the way, and I have to admit that I like hearing you call me sir." He purred with a smile as he clearly loved her as well, his eyes shone with that love in every moment, though he grinned. " we should go toy shopping." He mused with a playful grin, after all he may have access to any toy or thing, but having them all he certainly didn't.

Evie nearly spit out her drink when he mentioned shopping for toys. She looked at him with surprise in her brown gaze, blush appearing on her cheeks as she thought about the suggestion. It would be interesting, she thought to herself.

"Really?" She asked in a softly whispered voice. "I mean, it could be fun. I'm sure that you will make it worth my while."

Damian couldn't help but laugh when she looked SO surprised, but even as she blushed, he chuckled to himself at the end of the laugh, though as she asked that in such a soft whispered voice, he nodded easily.

" Why not? I think that would be fun, don't you?" He asked with a grin as he reached over with the hand which had held the milkshake and pulling her to him he kissed her soundly before 'releasing her'.

"Well, if you promise to keep kissing me like that, I'll let you do whatever you want." Evie said with a grin as he let her go after kissing her soundly. "I love the way that you kiss me, Damian. More than anything else that you do to me."

The moment was interrupted as the waitress came back with their order. The fries were overflowing on the plate with plenty of sauce for dipping. Evie offered Damian half of her burger in exchange for half of his. She grinned as she cut it in half, depositing the messy piece of hamburger onto his plate before she stole another kiss.

He grinned when she said that, though he nodded. " I do promise... because I think your kisses are addicting." He purred with a grin. Even as the moment was interrupted he wasn't upset, instead he smirked but relented in sharing half his burger with her.

As the fries looked so good, he enjoyed that secondary kiss, though she snuck it in and broke it off before he could claim her lips fully so he simply smirked to her and then dug into the food. He certainly didn't want anything other than to spend his time with her... which made him think of proposing to her.

He knew that was FAR too fast, he hadn't even met her family, but Damian began to think about having a family with her, to raise children with her. Finally though he shut such thoughts away for now and instead focused on sharing this moment with her!

"I'm happy you give me a good work out nearly every night because I think I would gain 50 lbs the way that we eat." Evie said after she took a bite of her burger. "And no frou frou food for you either. You must upset some of your wealthy friends by wanting to eat in a dive bar that serves delicious sauce and delicious burgers."

Damian grinned ever so slightly as she mentioned her weight, though he shrugged. " I think you're beautiful just the way you are." Though as she said that about his 'wealthy' friends Damian laughed ever so softly.

" Most of my friends aren't rich... we just share the common thought that BDSM should always be consensual, that most people are ignorant of the concept, and that this is a part of who we are." He purred, though even as he said that he did know she was teasing him so he playfully stuck his tongue out at her.

"I think you're a little biased." Evie teased him as he playfully stuck his tongue out at her and went back to his food. "And if you stick your tongue out at me again, I'll give it a pinch. That's what my mom use to do when I was little and sassy. I shudder to think how my children will act one day. I'm sure they will raise hell and make me grey."

Damian laughed gently as she said that, though he shrugged ever so slightly. " So what if I am? I think you have the right to be who you are." He mused, though as she said that about pinching his tongue, Damian smirked.

Her mentioning family though did make him think about his own childhood, and though he didn't have the supportive memories she had, he WAS thoughtful of her feelings as it was. As she mentioned children though he smirked faintly though.

" They will be supported and loved. That is all a child should ever have to ask for." He mused firmly, though gave her a loving squeeze before he finally let her go to use both hands to eat the messy yet delicious burgers.

"A good home." Evie murmured in agreement as she started in on her burger as well.

She couldn't help but moan at the taste. They were absolutely delicious, she thought to herself as she tried both burgers. Damian had good taste because the burger that he had chosen was nearly as delicious as the one that she had picked out.

"You need to get your cook at the club to come up with dishes like this. I think I would have a burger every single day if that were the case." She murmured, swiping some of the fries with sauce off the shared plate.

Damian smirked ever so slightly as she moaned at the taste, and though Damian didn't moan, he did softly groan at the taste. He preferred his own burger to hers, though he would admit that hers was good as well.

As she said that though Damian nodded to her. " I'll have to ask, usually the cook just makes an assortment of everything, but I will mention burgers going on the availability menu." He remarked with a grin... it was a good idea, though the club was more appetizer food than anything else really... his personal chef could be given leiway to make their own creations!

"Your staff is going to start to complain about the boss's girlfriend making so many changes." Evie teased, laughing at the look that he gave her. "Maybe I'm a little selfish since you live there, but I want everything to be perfect. Absolutely perfect."
