Submit button not working

Hello!

Very specific bug. I have uploaded and filled out the form to submit my next entry (chapter 37 of Becoming Monsters: In The Mirror). However, the button to Review and Submit will not click. It is currently saved as a Draft, that button worked normally.

I tried that first. Thing is, normally when that happens the click does something that results in a figurative finger wag to remind me that I haven't. This time, the click doesn't seem to do anything.

(And yes, I've done everything else needed like checking the box, selecting language/categories/tags etc.)

I edited it some more, then when clicked the button again it wasn't working. I've made a brand new draft by starting a new story and it doesn't work in that one either.

I want to add, it was working a couple of hours ago. I clicked the "Preview&Publish" button on a draft I'm working on to preview the formatting. I edited it some more, then when clicked the button again it wasn't working. I've made a brand new draft by starting a new story and it doesn't work in that one either.

Same here! I also deleted the "draft" and recreated the entire thing. The "Save Draft" works fine, though.

When I click on the "Preview&Publish" button, my cursor becomes the index finger icon, but the button doesn't work. One part of me is glad that it's not me or something in my text, but now, it seems like we've got a glitch. Actually, the whole site appears to be running a little slowly today.

Don't know if coincidence or not, but I closed down the tab, opened a new one and it worked. Previously I tried restarting my computer and that didn't fix it.

I too have the problem. Save draft works, but preview and publish does not.

I've tried logging out, deleting the draft and starting over, copy/paste and upload plaintext. I'm definitely checking the T&C box, category, language, all the required fields.

I’m having the same issue. Good to know I’m not alone. Guess I’ll try again tomorrow.

On an unrelated (?) but equally frustrating note, ArriveCan, the Canadian customs app, is also down. FML.

This could be bad for Laurel, because it's creating a backlog. If the outage goes on for more than a few hours, she'll be digging through an even more gigantic pile of stories to review. My sympathies, Laurel.

I’m having the same problem… I updated my browser, restarted my computer, deleted the draft, tried submitting a different story… the “Preview&Publish” button isn’t working.

I can save drafts but that’s it.

Has it been resolved for anyone else?

I’ve contacted support. Hoping it’s fixed by tomorrow! Gotta stay optimistic.

I'm having the same problem.
Same, tried to copy my story in another draft but no luck, same behavior.
There is a javscript error in the console, I think it's a bug from the website, but the code is minified and it's hard to debug without the proper sources.
I think we will need to wait for the tech to dig it.

Yeah it looks like it's global. I think the ppl that can post are those with an old version of the JS code cached in their browser or something like that.
