On a more serious note, I don’t have a list of things I don’t care about, but if I did, the plight of Muslim women would certainly be on it.

Why? Because it’s none of my business and because I couldn’t have an effect on it if I wanted to. When I hear things like this, I usually think, “when they’ve had enough, they’ll start killing men in their sleep.” They all have kitchen implements after all.

But see… they don’t do anything. They just keep taking it. And if there is one thing Americans should learn from our ridiculous, foreign policy misadventures, it’s that fighting for the freedom of others, who aren’t already fighting fiercely on their own behalf, is a fool’s errand that should be declined.

If you really believe that "they don't do anything", then you are not aware of the situation in Iran at all, and if you really believe that USA foreign policy is "fighting for the freedom of others", then you are not familiar with the foreign policy of your own country either.

Something around 600 people have been killed and around 20000 arrested in the recent wave of anti government movement alone. This wouldn't have happened if the Iranian people weren't "already fighting fiercely on their own behalf".

Was USA "fighting for the freedom of others" when it organized the 1953 coup in Iran and overthrew the last democratically elected government?
