Talking to Myself

Love marks

Biting, scratching, clawing, pulling, pinching...
Not that every encounter should result in mild assault, but, to me, if there aren't moments of passion that drive me and MLT crazy enough to be marked, we're not being present. I think seeing the marks left from moments of overwhelming passion are a great thing. I like seeing my handiwork. I want her to be so lost in the moment she forgets herself and is just a carnal and visceral being reacting to the situation.

Feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts!

All. Of. It. Please! All of the time. Even when making love. Tender little bits of everything, please?!

Wow did this hit home. Not being present. It’s such a reminder from previous relationships, that you can absolutely be intimate with someone and not be present.

I’ll always be present and leave little reminders!

Ohhh I love looking at and seeing little reminders. They take me back to the moment, the feelings, the connection.

It leaves me with the question. Oftentimes, younger people get hickies, but as we get older in typical relationships we stop. We don’t even try to leave them hidden and out of plain sight. I wonder why that is?

Mhmmm I love seeing your handiwork, too, Sir! Thank you, Sir!

Sir, I am so reactive to you it’s often wonderfully overwhelming! 🥵🤤🔥

You know I absolutely want to devour you, MLT!

Even as a guy, I've had my mind wander. That's a really bad sign, isn't it?

Stigma. We're told to "grow up." But, don't worry, I've never been accused of acting my age! 😘😈

And you say yellow doesn't look good on you... I disagree!

Sir, I am so reactive to you it’s often wonderfully overwhelming! 🥵🤤🔥
And it's my goal to always be pushing this reaction for us both!

Pornography - Let's talk about that.

The first thing we need to do is define what we're talking about, the American Heritage of English defines it thusly:
  1. Sexually explicit writing, images, video, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.
  2. Lurid or sensational material. Often used in combination.
    "violence pornography."
  3. Licentious painting or literature; especially, the painting anciently employed to decorate the walls of rooms devoted to bacchanalian orgies.
  4. A treatise on prostitutes, or prostitution.
  5. Obscene pictures, writings, drawings, motion pictures, videos, or the like intended primarily to cause sexual arousal and having little or no artistic merit; also, the content of such materials.
  6. The graphic, detailed, often gratuitous depiction of something.
  7. Creative activity (writing or pictures or films etc.) of no literary or artistic value other than to stimulate sexual desire.
I think there is a little too much thrown out by all of these definitions, so I'm going to use this reduced definition:
Sexually explicit writing, images, video, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.

I wasn't raised in a religious household, yet pornography was awful and should not be consumed in any manner. Then I found religion and they REALLY don't like pornography. In fact, I've heard some of the wildest claims imaginable from some of these folks regarding pornography, and what they consider to even constitute pornography; some go so far as to say that nudity in a movie is soft-core pornography; seems a bit excessive to me, but what do I know? Short answer - very little.

So let's take a few things out of the discussion right up front - some sources of pornography exploit vulnerable people or are outright conducting human rights violations - those are all wrong and despicable. This discussion is working on the assumption that all parties are enthusiastically giving sober consent, are compensated as appropriate where appropriate, and all ethical circumstances are far above reproach.

Sorry for the dissertation, we haven't even started! I have my thoughts on the subject, so I will share them at a later time, but I'd like to know what you, fellow Litster, have to say on the topic. Please add your own thoughts if my questions don't encapsulate them.
  1. Do you consume pornography?
    1. If yes, what kind? Video, written, auditory, photography or painting, or something else?
    2. If no, why not?
  2. Do you consider sexual instructional material pornography (clothed, naked, or animated)?
    1. Have you utilized educational/instructional sexual material in the past?
    2. If you haven't, would you consider doing so in the future, and under what circumstances?
  3. Do you send pornography to anyone else? If yes, what do you send them, and why? Is it because you want them to see something sexy to you, or something you think they'd masturbate to, as a joke, to convey a message, or any other reason?
  4. Do you have a friend or other non-romantic partner you share pornographic material with? If yes, why, and what do you send them?
  5. Do you feel ashamed for consuming pornography (regardless if anyone knows about it or not)? Why or why not?
  6. Do you share pornography with a romantic partner? If yes, why and to what end? If no, why not?
  7. Are you afraid a romantic partner will judge you or look down upon you for the type of pornography you consume?
  8. Do you pay for your pornography?
  9. Would you pay to ensure you were consuming only ethical and reputable material?
  10. Where do you source most of your pornographic material from?
  11. Do you have a genre (or small selection) of pornography you'd consider your regular type?
  12. How often do you consume pornography?
  13. Have you ever consumed a pornographic media that you would never normally indulge in and found it more arousing than you thought of? What was it or what was the genre that surprised you?
  14. Is there a pornographic type that you refuse to consume or that makes you extremely uncomfortable?
  15. Do you think there are some types of pornographic things or genres that should not exist? If yes, why and if you feel comfortable saying specifically, what are they? If no, why do you feel that way?
  16. Is there anything else that was left out that you think would be germane to the topic?

26 April will be the season finale for the orchestra where we will send our current musical director out as he moves onto something new. The piece we are doing is quite possibly the most difficult music I've ever performed. It has quite a range for most voices; but that isn't the hard part. It has a small variety of time signatures; that isn't the hard part. It's long; but that isn't the hard part. It's loud; but that isn't the hard part. It's all of this. If I were to compare this to Mozart's Requiem, this work at 30% wider range for most voices ( for example, bass voices have to extend from Db-2 to F#-4), the chorus sings about 300% more, there overlapping time signatures, undulating tempos, is almost completely vocalized, most of the work is forte or louder, and it ends in an ethereal and emotional way, barely above a whisper. The following recordings are not of my orchestra and chorus, but they are otherwise fantastic versions.

Do you consume pornography?
  1. If yes, what kind? Video, written, auditory, photography or painting, or something else?
  2. If no, why not?
Yes. I don't really consider written or auditory pornography
Do you consider sexual instructional material pornography (clothed, naked, or animated)?
No
Do you send pornography to anyone else?
Yes. I enjoy sharing it with either like-minded friends or a partner.
Do you feel ashamed for consuming pornography
Sure don't! I don't think ma
Do you share pornography with a romantic partner?
Yes. I think it's incredibly bonding to do so. It also help you really learn about your partner and their interests. It's also a lot of fun to watch it together!
Are you afraid a romantic partner will judge you or look down upon you for the type of pornography you consume?
Not with MTK!
Do you pay for your pornography?
haha No. You'd never catch me paying for it when it's widely available!
Would you pay to ensure you were consuming only ethical and reputable material?
You might have won me over here!
Where do you source most of your pornographic material from?
It's so much harder now where I live! My favorite states are now blocked-kinda!
Do you have a genre (or small selection) of pornography you'd consider your regular type?
Yes. I prefer bondage and kink related porn.
How often do you consume pornography?
Not often. I much prefer to think up my own play in my head or read erotica.
What was it or what was the genre that surprised you?
haha its so hard to surprise me!
Is there a pornographic type that you refuse to consume or that makes you extremely uncomfortable?
Yes. Anything involving anyone that looks remotely underage. buzzkill.
Is there anything else that was left out that you think would be germane to the topic?
No, Sir. Your dissertation was great!
