We seem to have this unwritten rule at work where people don’t put meetings on your calendar on Fridays. I don’t think people are fucking around, I find it good because it’s the only day that I can really get shit done. Most of my days are spent in meetings.

It's just after 2200 PSD here in the chilly PNW. Not as cold as some of you, however. I'm headed off to my bed soon. The girl is snoring away on the couch! I have to get up yet ANOTHER day at an ungodly hour (0900). I'll be glad when this project is done! I can see light at the end of the tunnel! Or... is that the train??? 😱😱🤣

The ironic part is they are streaming this and I could be back home getting the same result while still being able to get work done. At least I take my thermos of coffee with me to keep me awake.

Retirement gives you the freedom to create your own, personalised routine. Or, as I prefer, wake up each morning and decide what to do based on how the day is shaping up.

I spent a few years driving taxi in NYC. The meter kept running even when not moving. The next best thing was there were great conversations on ocasion.

I pulled out of my parking space and managed to slid down a slight hill, maybe 50 yards or so, having no control and didn't hit anyone. Ice is the worst!
