The Boomerang Kid

Alarm bells went off as soon as she hung up the phone. What the hell am I supposed to tell Lance? It wasn't like they were exclusive, how could they be when he was married to her mother? They'd been in the office most of the morning together and he hadn't even mentioned the prospect of her going on a date. As the minutes ticked away, Carmen came to the conclusion that she was being silly. As possessive as he seemed Lance didn't seem like the type to be easily threatened. Especially by a dorky accountant.

But still she couldn't bring herself to tell him to his face, instead she left a note on his desk. ..
Went across the street for lunch with Lorenzo
Shouldn't be more than an hour
Make a list of parts we'll need for Vince (my broken vw)
so I can start digging
Carmen:)

Satisfied, Carmen tucked her phone in her wristlet and headed out the backdoor. Because it was closer, not so she could avoid bumping into her step-dad. When she got to the diner, she started to give Lorenzo a call to see if he'd gotten there yet. But then she saw him in the window as she climbed the ramp, looking a little twitchy in his three piece suit. That made her glance down at her own outfit and frown. Twice he'd seen her in less than her best but there was nothing she could do about it now, so she pulled the door open, put a smile on her face and stepped inside.

"He's over there, "she said to the hostess when she asked how many and found herself grinning as Lorenzo unfolded himself from the booth. He had a handsome smile and his nervous shuffle made her giggle a little as she stepped into his half hug. He smells almost as good as Lance. She kept that to herself though as she slid into the booth across from him.

"Hey, you look - wow!"

"Awww you're sweet but I feel terribly undressed sitting across from you," she said with a smirk as he slipped out of his jacket to reveal a shirt that was snug on his broad shoulders. "That doesn't help but thanks," she added with a broad smile and sipped her water.

"Glad you could get away from the office."

"Thanks for giving me a reason. My step-dad's cool but it's loud as hell and smells like grease and burned metal. I'm told I'll get used to it," she said with a shrug as the waiter came to take their order.

Once that was done, they fell into easy conversation. The longer they talked the more relaxed he became. They talked about music mostly and he filled her in on the cool places to hang out. He complained about his roommates but she won that battle reminding him she lived with newlyweds. Of course she didn't mention the fact that she was fucking the husband but she figured that wasn't proper first date conversations. By the time the food came, it might have looked like they'd known each other for years the way they laughed together.

Lorenzo had started to truly relax, even going so far as to give Carmen some math jokes. The fact that he knew math jokes at all helped contrast his life as an accountant to Lance's life as a mechanic.

"Feel free to order a drink if you want. I can't because I'm going back to work" Lorenzo had set up, then delivered the punchline, "I really shouldn't drink and derive." He shook his head, as if instantly admitting the joke was lame.

During the conversation, Lorenzo had also shown off his artistic side by explaining how technical some drummers really were. He had her practice a few beats which seemed easy enough. Then he introduced a sugar packet which added an one extra detail to the whole sequence and suddenly the rhythm was nearly impossible without practice.

"It like it's own language." He explained. "When you talk you never stop to think about the meaning of words before you say them. After a while my hands just know what to do on their own." He paused for a bit then segued into the show, "Speaking of which. If you're coming to the show I can leave you a backstage pass. You can meet the rest of the band and let them know if they suck or not." He laughed. "I just need to know how many to leave you." That last part was clearly a subtle attempt to see if she'd be bringing a date or not.

After that lunch would have to come to an end and this time Lorenzo went for the full hug after saying that lunch was one him. "You can pick up the tab next time." He said, in justification.

When Carmen got back to the Shop, Lance was waiting. "How was lunch?" There was a hint of envy and amusement in his tone making his mood impossible to read. But his smile seemed warm and genuine enough.

Carmen returned the same way she left, through the backdoor, and went straight back to the office. So busy texting her mother, she didn't notice Lance sitting at his desk until he spoke to her.

"How was lunch?" For a split second, she actually felt guilt for sneaking away, but then she noticed that little smirk of his and gave him one of her own.

"Not bad actually," she lied a little as she set her wallet down and open her laptop. Carmen was finding it hard to look him in the eye but it didn't feel right not telling him the truth. "He told me a bunch of math puns but I think it was just nerves. Once he relaxed enough to be normal we had a nice time. We did a lot of laughing...talking about music...stuff like that. It was nice, " she said at the last, unable to keep the grin off her face when she thought of him. "Smelled good too," she mumbled as she turned her attention back to her lap top screen.

"Good." Lance approached Carmen, his hands going to her shoulders and gently massaging. "And this is the same guy with the band. Right?" He started to use his strong fingers to go longer and deeper with his massage, turning the whole thing into a far less innocent and much more sensual gesture.

"So, I have a errand for you to run. There's a car that a woman is trying to sell. I want you to take pictures of it, get the vin, drive it around the block and and let me know if it is in good condition. Take the truck, track your miles." He moved away quickly and walked back to his desk just moments before the door opened. It was Hector.

"Hey, Boss." He instead turned to Carmen saying, "There's some guy on the phone for you. Said he's the original owner of the Chevelle?" Hector shrugged and left it at that.

Carmen bit her lip to stifle the moan that came when Lance touched her. It started innocently enough but having his hand so close to her throat reminded her off the way he took her in that motel room. "Mmmmhmm," she moaned in answer to his question, tipped her head back to look up at him.

Before she could say anything more, he was giving her orders and moving back to his desk. She found herself pouting a little until the door flung open and in strolled Hector. Carmen was surprised when his message was for her.

"Umm...thanks I'll take it in here," she told him and he shot her a wink before he left, closing the door behind him. Carmen moved around Lance's desk, resisted the urge to sit in his lap. Instead she cleared a little space to lean on and picked up the phone.

"Hi this is Carmen...yes, my client commissioned us for a full restoration on the vehicle. This is just us going the extra mile...no sir, just a little history not drumming up the price...uh huh...uh huh...are you kidding that's awesome," she said as she leaned over the desk to steal a pin and something to write on. So busy listening and scribbling, Carmen didn't realize her shirt had ridden up and the top of her thong peeked out jeans. "Pictures would be great if you had any. Sweet! Yeah you could send them to that same e-mail. Thanks so much," she said and slammed the phone down. "That guy says that bucket of bolts was in an episode of Knight Rider and he has pictures of it and the Hoff on set. I do believe I earned that extra 5 bucks," she told him and hopped up off Lance's desk.

"Now back to this car I'm supposed to check out? Wouldn't it be better if you came along...I mean since this is my first time and I have no idea what I'm looking for, it might be better if you showed me this one time so I don't screw it up."

While Carmen had been taking note, leaning over and giving him a nice view, Lance could feel his cock coming to life. There was nothing more that he wanted than to yank Carmen's sexy short down and pound her while she lay across his desk. He was about to lock the office door when she got off the phone.

"I do believe I earned that extra 5 bucks"

It took a while for the words to register meaning in Lance's head. When she talked about the other car he returned his focus to work, but not right away. There was something about this job that Lance seemed reluctant to agree too.

"Well, it should be fine. Let's take the tow truck just in case. And bring your laptop." He pulled a set of keys off the wall and gestured for her to follow. As they left Hector spotted them leaving.

"Hey, Boss. You guys leaving?" Hector seemed disappointed.

"Yeah, we're going to pick up The Joshi car."

"Oh, I thought I could do that for you."

Lance shook his head, "No. I gave this one to Carmen. I'm just going along to train her. That's All." The last part was delivered with a stern warning, but to whom was uncertain.

Once in the Tow Truck Lance explained, "Mr and Mrs Joshi are a bit strange. They aren't allowed to get a divorce but he keeps sleeping with all the interns in his company. Since she's the one with the money she likes to sell off parts of his car collection from time to time. I used to send Kenny but she kept hitting on him so he doesn't want to go out there anymore. I'm sure Hector was hoping for the same."

Kenny was ironically the Nickname of Kenji, even though it was the same number of Syllables. Kenny was from Japan, a round Asian kid who'd come to America years ago and an exchange student in High School. Still very Japanese he seemed very shy and introverted, but he was also one of the best when it came to fixing Imports. Carmen didn't know much about him on a personal level yet and Lance has said he'd come around. Like a kitten that needs to get used to you first.

Once in the two truck he recorded the mileage and fuel level. Then made sure Carmen was ready to go.

"I honestly can't believe you're actually letting me drive this thing," Carmen said, shaking her head as she adjusted the mirrors with the buttons on three door panel. "You have way more faith in me than I do. Hope your insurance is up to date," she added with a smirk as she put the hulking wrecker in gear and eased her way out of the garage lot.

It was slow going at first with her being extra cautious as they pulled onto the freeway but once she got up to speed, Carmen found herself relaxing behind three wheel. Not enough but to have a conversation but she did steal a few glances at Lance.

She heard what he said to Hector, his not so subtle implication that this was strictly a business outing, and did her best to keep her mildly hurt feelings in check. But she couldn't help but think he might be punishing her a little for sneaking away. That thought alone brought a little smile to her face.

"So when we get there am I going to have to run interference or are you going to just stay in three truck? If this lady was throwing it at Kenny, I don't want to think about how she'll treat you ," she said with a chuckle as she exited the freeway.

A few short miles later they were pulling into a gated community full of houses with circle driveways and privacy hedges. Carmen felt immediately out of place and had to keep reminding herself that she was there to work, not for a visit. She found the house, one if the largest, and drove up the long meandering driveway and parked in front of the garage.

"So am I going or you?"

"Yeah, I want you to do all the talking. I'll stay back as a supervisor. Not that I'd accept her advances, I just don't want to be accused of anything." Lance explained, sounding as if he'd played out scenarios like this. He wanted to tell Carmen that he wouldn't cheat on her mom, but that seemed hypocritical. Still, Carmen was the exception and not the rule, but Lance didn't feel like explaining that.

Lance was also in awe of the house. He got out, but didn't move from the truck. "I'll stay back here. You can go ahead and talk to her about the car." If you need help, feel free to call me over. Otherwise, I'll be right here."

"Yeah, I want you to do all the talking. I'll stay back as a supervisor. Not that I'd accept her advances, I just don't want to be accused of anything."

"I'm only teasing Lance," Carmen said, rolling her eyes as climbed out of the truck. She didn't feel the need to rehash the conversation about their relationship to prove a joke. What was between them was just that, Carmen had little doubt that Lance only had eyes for her...and her mother of course.

She shot him a wink as she headed to the front door to ring the bell and waited patiently for someone to answer. Her phone started vibrating in her back pocket but she let it go, wanting to err on the side of professionalism. Whoever it was could wait, like she was.

Eventually someone did come and Carmen had a hard time keeping the irritation out of her face for the almost 15 minute wait. But she couldn't help the smirk that came when that door finally did open.

"Can I help you," the woman said as she pulled her red satin robe closed, but not before Carmen noticed the black lace camisole underneath. Even with all the pancake makeup, Carmen could tell the woman was at least 50 and none to please at being interrupted.

"I'm from Steel Horse. You called about a car you wanted to sell."

There was a moment when the woman seemed visibly disappointed, lips drawn into a tight line with furrowed brows. She let out a heavily drawn breathe and rolled her eyes before she finally asked of Kenny.

"He's off for a couple days... family emergency I think," Carmen lied with a straight face and the poor cougar actually frowned a moment before she sucked her teeth.

"Well I guess you'll do. Go to the garage, I don't make it habit off letting strange women into my home. And I'll not have you tracking grease in my marble floors." She slammed the door in Carmen's face with an indignant "humph" that Carmen couldn't help but laugh at as she made her way around the mansion to the garage. Part of her felt bad for the woman, stuck in a loveless marriage, so starved for attention that she threw her pussy at any man. Whether he was interested or not. It was an awful way to live and Carmen was sure this woman resented her a little for her youth.

Once inside the garage though, the woman actually introduced herself by first name. "Jocelyn Joshi," she said and stuck out her hand. She'd changed into a more suitable outfit of black slacks and a cashmere sweater making her seem far less pitiful in Carmen's eyes. Carmen introduced herself as they shook hands and Mrs. Joshi showed her the car, a '57 Chevy Impala with cream paint and chrome finishes. Carmen had to admit it was a beautiful car and inquired why she was giving it up. "It was an anniversary gift for my husband that I was no longer believe he deserves."

"I'm supposed to take it for a spin," Carmen said quickly, not wanting to get into the Joshi marital problems. "Make sure it runs and stuff."

"Well he drove it just yesterday but I suppose you can't just take my word for it," was the disgruntled wife's quick reply and Carmen didn't miss how she the pleasure Jocelyn took in it. There was joy as she handed over the keys and watched as Carmen started it up.

She didn't take it far just around the driveway a couple times before she pulled up behind the truck where Lance was already preparing the flatbed. "Sounds good to me," she said to him as she got out of the car. Mrs. Joshi was making her way down the driveway. "She says he just drove it yesterday," she said quietly with a look that clearly said "what the fuck".

Lance had been having trouble keeping focused. Watching Carmen climb into the car, start it up and seeing her behind the wheel. He admired every inch of leg that slipped out of the car again. He hoped the tightness in his pants wasn't visible and tried to focus on work so his erection wouldn't grow any further.

"Here," He pulled up her laptop and had her log in. Next he had her go to a website and use the company log in. The website looked very much like the Kelly Blue Book site but this was clearly geared towards people in the industry. Lance barely had to explain how it worked with the obvious interface.

Select the year, make and model. Mark off options and condition. Click and get a range of dollars for buying and selling.

While she did all this Lance opened the hood of the car. The engine looked as clean as one might expect for a car that didn't leak oil and showed almost no aging. It had clearly going through a restoration already.

As Mrs Joshi approached Lance went back to Carmen, resisting the urge to rub up against her as he stood behind her to look at the results. "Do you want to make the offer or do you want me to?" He asked, low and into Carmen's ear. If she wanted to keep taking point on this, he was happy to let her. In truth it was also a bit of a turn on to her in charge.

Carmen put her laptop in tablet mode so she could input all the car's specs without resting it on anything. With the device cradled in her arms, she circled the vehicle marking off boxes and typing in numbers. Once she was satisfied with the data she flipped her laptop open and rested it on the driver's seat so she could finalize her search. So busy tapping at the keys, Carmen vaguely heard the sound of the hood closing.

"Do you want to make the offer or do you want me to?"

Carmen jumped at the sound of Lance's voice in her ear. Goosebumps ran up her arms at the pleasant chill that came with him being so close but still the shock of his approach sent her stumbling back. Her lips spread immediately when her ass brushed against the slight bulge in his jeans but Carmen didn't linger.

"Ummm...sure I could do it," she said as she spun to face him, and since he stood so close there was no place for her to go but to remain pressed to his chest. "I want to do it," Carmen said with more conviction but even she wasn't exactly sure of the "it" she referred. "I'll do like Rollins says... start low," she said with a wink as she slid out from between Lance and the truck.

Carmen put her game face on as she headed back to Mrs. Joshi who seemed completely disinterested in the proceedings with her eyes glued to her phone screen. She made her first offer, palms a little sweaty at the thought of negotiating but there was none. The disgruntled wife took it with a shrug and smiled.

"That's a little more than half of what I paid but I was more than willing to take less," she said, extending her hand. "I appreciate you not taking too much advantage of the situation. Tell you're boss that I'd be happy to deal with you from now on since it seems I've scared poor Kenny off." She didn't wait for Carmen to relay the message and headed back inside.

Carmen was visibly excited as she watched Lance hook up the car. She did her best to pay attention, knowing that at some point she'd have to do it on her own. But she couldn't help being distracted by the way hugs arms bulged as he worked the cables. Nor could she keep herself from throwing her arms around him when he was done. "That was awesome Lance. Thanks for giving me a chance to do something other than lay around all day." She gave him a quick peck on the cheek before she pulled away and headed to the front of the truck to pack up her laptop.

"How about you drive back?" Carmen asked, already climbing into the passenger seat. She took a quick peek at her phone and noted the messages from her mom and Lorenzo, the latter bringing a bit of blush to her cheeks.

had a great time...hope we can do it again soon:D

Lance climbed into the driver's seat and noticed Carmen blush as she read her phone. Even as he pulled out of the expansive drive way he felt a mix of envy and pride. "Is that the new boyfriend?" He asked casually, smiling at her to break any tension she might be feeling. "You did good out there, today. Really good! You have a real talent for this."

It was clear the change in subject was to offset any tension he might have caused. He pulled off the main highway, once again it seemed he was opting for a more scenic route to make the trip back to the shop just a bit longer, and more secluded. "So, you think you'll be able to do this on your own next time?" He smiled, "If not, I'm sure I can tag along again. I do love to watch you work." He reached down, shifting his jeans to make room for his growing cock. He wondered if she was going to offer or if he'd have to pull over and make sure she offered.

Carmen smirked at Lance's boyfriend comment. She started to dispute it, even as she texted back "definitely" followed by a few exclamation points, but she wasn't sure if the flutters in her stomach were from Lorenzo's text or Lance pulling off the interstate.

She noticed as she was tucking her phone into her computer bag. Carmen smiled when she looked up and saw the open road. So this isn't just business.

"So, you think you'll be able to do this on your own next time?" He smiled, "If not, I'm sure I can tag along again. I do love to watch you work."

It was like he was reading her mind and Carmen couldn't help the giggle that came as she caught Lance's not so subtle crotch adjustment. "I'm sure I could but maybe you should come along again anyway. I kinda like you watching me Daddy," she said with a grin as she unhooked her seat belt.

It wasn't on her list but Carmen had never given road head before and she figured he wouldn't mind helping her cross off another first. She slid over the bench seat so their thighs touched and reached into his lap to run her hand over his growling bulge. "I really appreciate all this Lance...giving me a job... the car even though I can't really drive it yet," she said with a chuckle as she slowly unbuckled his belt and pulled down his fly.

Carmen doubted he would deny her but still she didn't want to give Lance a chance. Being at the shop with him all morning did nothing but make her hotter for him. Watching him sweat under cars and interact with his guys all day had her on edge but she had to respect the boundaries of their relationship in public. But if Lance asked her to crawl under his desk, or bend over it, she would have found it impossible to day no. Now that they were alone, she figured what the hell. They'd passed a handful of cars but only an 18-Wheeler would be able to look into the tow truck's windows to see her head in his lap and her ass in the air.

She barely got his cock out of his pants before she put her mouth on him, running her tongue along his shaft as she worked his length out of his tight boxer briefs. The aroma of his sweat and the rumble of the truck drove wild and Carmen gave his jeans a hard Yank to expose his whole package. The moan that came as his tip hit the back of her throat was deep and long as she held down on his cock and worked her own pants open. With a wiggle of her hips and a little fancy maneuvering, she worked her jeans down to her ankles and shifted to her back with her head in his lap. All without letting him out off her mouth.

Lance whispered, "Yes." in satisfaction before Carmen had even gotten him into her mouth. His moans of pleasure were low and full of desire as he continued to drive, his free hand running through her curly locks. When she pushed down until he was hitting the back of her throat, Lance even gave Carmen an extra push and held her for a moment.

"Oh, baby girl. I... love watching you..." He reached down, running a hand across her pelvis then up her tummy. He continued, pulling her shirt up until he exposed her breasts. Pinching a nipple playfully he looked around, trying to find a good place to pull over. Carmen was driving him past reason and thought, and in a matter of minutes he wasn't going to be able to resist diving tongue first into her pretty pussy.

He'd been growing more and more aroused all day, and now he was finally going to get a release. Lance hissed as Carmen almost swallowed the head of his dick. "Damn, baby girl! You suck it better than your mom." He knew what he was saying, and the taboo of it just excited him more.

Unable to take it, Lance pulled over to the side of the road and parked the truck and gripped the steering wheel in ecstasy. "Oh fuck, Carmen." He pulled her from his rod and moved to slip his pants down further. "Come here. Get in my lap. Come get fucked, baby girl. Let me fuck you so good." This time, however, it wouldn't just be tall trucks who'd know what they were doing. This time anyone driving past them on this small back-highway was sure to see Carmen bouncing up and down on Lance.

But that was probably why Lance wanted to do it.

"Damn, baby girl! You suck it better than your mom."

It was a horrible compliment, being compared to her mother that way but still Carmen felt a twisted sense of accomplishment. To know that she did a better job pleasing her step-father than his wife only served to drive her further into slutdom. She took a deep breath and forced herself further down his shaft. But just as Carmen was about to cross another first off her list, Lance was pulling her off his cock and pushing his pants down to his ankles.

"Come here. Get in my lap. Come get fucked, baby girl. Let me fuck you so good."

She hadn't even realized they'd pulled over until she sat up and wiped the spit from her chin. Carmen glanced around a moment, that little voice in her head telling her what a bad idea it was to be fucking her step-dad on the side of the road in the middle of the day. Then her eyes settled on him, his dick standing tall and shiny with her blow job. That was better than her mother's.

"Fuck it," she mumbled as she slid into his lap side saddle. It was a tight fit but it was easier than taking off her shoes to get out of her jeans. Faster too, one second she was contemplating what a terrible idea this little pit stop was and the next she was sitting on his cock. Carmen slipped her arm around his neck and her feet up on the seat for leverage as she rocked her hips up and back.

"Mmmm Daddy...you feel so good...so fucking good," she moaned in his ear, her hand tangled in his hair as she started to bounce. Her head on his shoulder, all Carmen's love sounds poured directly into his ear. Every moan, every whimper as her ass clapped against his thighs. "Ohhh my goodness Lance...you make me want to do the dirtiest things I love...it...I love this dick...fuck me Lance..make me feel good..."

Lance wrapped his arms around Carmen's hips, giving a little leverage but not much. She was still doing most of the work. Her words in his ear, her moans and her movements were pushing him to climax. He knew he'd have to think of something distracting.

"You're boyfriend better were a condom." He said, starting to move his hips and match her thrusts. It was time to turn on the confessions and make this as naughty as he could imagine. "If anyone puts a baby in you, I want it to be me!" He continued to meet her thrusts.

A horn honked as someone drove by but Lance barely noticed. Carmen was his entire world right now and he was going to fuck her until he filled her. If that meant he filled her with more than just his seed that's what he would do.

Nothing mattered. Cars slowing. Gerry finding out. Carmen having a boyfriend. Lance kissed Carmen's neck and then bit on her earlobe. His free hand still roamed her body with a loving caress but his hips pistoned in and out of her like a well lubed machine.

"God I love y..." He stopped himself, covering his potential accident with a moan and then pretended to continue "Love your pussy. You're so perfect, baby girl. So fucking perfect!"

He craned his neck and kissed her hard and deep. The passion of the kiss was a contrast to the frenzy of the fucking but as Lance broke the kiss he held Carmen's forehead to his own and started to slow his pace but deepen his thrust. Carmen knew this was him trying to hold back a dam burst of jis.

He locked eyes with Carmen, afraid to speak. Afraid the next words out of his mouth would be truths he was afraid to admit. He moved a few more time then whimpered and kissed her hard. His tongue shot into her mouth and his cum shot into her cunt. His body shook with love and passion as he exploded physically and emotionally into the only other woman he'd ever fallen in love with.

Carmen could have died when she heard his slip. She knew what he meant, what he stopped himself from saying but she didn't need to hear the words to know it to be true. It was in the way he held her, their foreheads pressed together as he tried to hold on just a little longer.

"I'm gonna cum," she whispered against his lips. Unable to hold out even if she wanted to, Carmen felt her body tensing up. Her hands gripped his forearms as her hips moved in slow wide circles in his lap. "Give it to me Lance...please Daddy fill me up...give that hot load..." she begged, her words dispersed between whimpers and moans of please as her body trembled against him. Her pussy trembled around his throbbing shaft and Carmen felt his body tighten against her.

She opened her mouth to continue her pleas but Lance's tongue stopped kept her quiet. But still she moaned long and deep as she felt the first volley of his cum splashing against her walls. Carmen kept moving, her hips rocking back and forth as she milked out every drop of his load, their tongues dancing the whole time.

"I don't know why I keep letting you do this to me," she said with a breathy giggle as she pulled away from him. "And don't worry Daddy, you're the only man who knows what it feels like to really be inside me," she added with a wink as she slipped out of his lap and yanked her pants up before she retook her seat. Carmen pulled down the sun visor and flipped open the mirror to wipe away the smears of lip gloss around her lips and fix her hair before she stole a glance at Lance. She loved him, and not they way a daughter should love her step-father, there was no denying it.

"It's getting late," she said with a smirk. "Don't want the guys wondering do you?"

Lance laughed, "They'll think I was banging the lady of the house." He leaned over to pull his pants up and kissed her, loving and longing. When he sat back he started up the truck. "Let's get back on the freeway. There will be people there when we arrive. We'll claim she was a hard ass and kept trying to pass off cheap parts for original manufacturer."

The drove back, Lance visible more relaxed and casting side glances and smiles at Carmen. He never looked at her as one would a step-daughter, but with the eyes of a lover who was truly happy. It was as wrong as it was right, but there wasn't any turning back now.

When the got to the garage, Kenny was still there. He helped unload the car but didn't really say much or even act as if he thought something was going on between Lance and Carmen. He truly acted as if this was just a normal day.

"Hey, Kenji. You staying here tonight?"

Ken half nodded and half bowed to which Lance asked. "You sure?" And Kenny repeated the gesture. "Okay. You got a $15 dollar limit on the pay per view event and leave a pizza receipt in the petty cash."

"Thank you." The Japanese kid said, finally uttering words, and went back to work on a lime green import.

Once outside, Lance moved to open Carmen's door. Emboldened by Kenji being the only one inside he moved to kiss Carmen like a boyfriend. The kiss was long and enjoyable. Finally he let her get into the truck saying, "Kenji lives at home. He's not allowed to move out until he gets married. I know, it's lame. So he likes to work late on his friend's cars and sleep in the lounge."

The shop was empty by the time they got back, save Kenji who was busy working on a flashy green tuner. A term she learned from Lance when he showed her around earlier. She left them to unload the car while she went off to his office to file away the paperwork and pack up her stuff. She started to leave it since she'd be back in the morning but once she saw the list scribbled down on the notepad on her table Carmen thought she might get some work done after dinner. It seemed like a good idea to have a distraction. Just because she didn't mind playing second fiddle to hee mother didn't mean she enjoyed it.

With that thought in her head, Carmen shot a text to Lorenzo. Nothing major. A simple "wyd" punctuated with a smiley to keep it casual. She took a picture of list and saved it to her cloud so she could reference it at home and left the original.

By the time she made it back to the shop floor, Kenji was back under the hood and Lance was waiting for her by the door. She bid the quiet Asian good night and he nodded in her direction. A hint of a smile on his lips. Carmen might have been offended but that was more acknowledgement than she received earlier in the day so she counted herself lucky. As far as she was concerned, he wasn't treating her any different than the rest of the employees so she wouldn't press him for more. She didn't want to scare him off.

Carmen found herself smiling as she approached Lance waiting by the door, completely at ease with the way things had developed between them. Would have been better if he we're single, of course, but then would they have even met? If not for his marriage to her mom, Carmen wouldn't be having the best sex of her life with a man she was starting to think more than just liked her. The kiss he laid on her after he opened her door was proof of that. She hesitated a moment, almost pulled away but that stupid voice in her head was quiet now so she gave into the embrace. The thought that they might be seen came and went as his tongue slipped into her mouth with her body pressed to his. And she blushed when he pulled away to help her into the truck.

"I'm sure it's not nearly as fun at his house as it is mine," she said with a smirk and reached to slip her hand without even thinking about it.

The drive home was a bit tense, and Lance had nothing to say and just held Carmen's hand as the drove. The silent interaction said enough, and soon they were home. Lance explained he needed to take a shower and was going to turn in early so it would be Gerry and Carmen. He even suggested a movie and went to take a shower right away.

The truth was more that he wanted to make sure he didn't have any of Carmen's juices on his body. He mourned the loss of her scent and cum from his skin. After his shower, sex with his wife seemed a distant desire. It was as if he didn't want to cheat on his Step-daughter with his wife.

Wow, this got complicated quickly.

He voiced a goodnight to anyone who might hear and headed to the study where he poured a mid-range Scotch and settled down wearing nothing but lounge pants and a bluetooth headset for the Audio book on his phone.

Meanwhile, Gerry and Carmen had a few minutes together before Lorenzo started to call Carmen on the phone. Clearly he was wanting to talk instead of text.

After a whirlwind week, Carmen's life was finally settling down a bit. With her mother's return things between her and Lance cooled off a little. Sure there we're still stolen glances and secret rendezvouses on "part runs" but the intensity of their developing relationship had reached a bit of a plateau. And Carmen wasn't sure if that was good or bad. Her mom still didn't have a clue but that was only because they did well putting on a platonic front in her presence.

It helped that Carmen spent a lot of time in her room on the phone with Lorenzo, or Zo as he preferred to be called. It turned out they had a lot in common. Listened to the same music, read the same books. They even spent a night binge watching a Scottish sitcom on Netflix while they video chatted. Gerry called it "boo loving" and Lance grumbled at any reference to Carmen's new flame. Of course Gerry found that adorable but Carmen knew his annoyance was less than paternal and did her best not to mention Zo in his presence. That didn't stop him from bringing him up in the heat of the moment or teasing her when he caught her texting at her desk in his office. It was still new but Carmen got the feeling they might be good together.

Especially after she saw him play. Zo was nice enough to pick her up for the show in his late model energy efficient coupe and Carmen made sure she was ready so he wouldn't have to wait. She didn't to give anybody the opportunity to give him the third degree so when she heard the doorbell, Carmen sprinted to answer it before Gerry or Lance could get off the couch. She felt silly until Zo got a good look at her as they walked to the car in her pleated mini skirt and studded Doc Marten's.

"Wow...Carmen you look...just...wow," he stammered as he opened her door and helped her into his car with a hand on her back. Carmen couldn't help the grin that came to her lips as Zo openly stared at her a moment before he started the car.

And every time they caught eyes during his show. They played a Sublime song that Carmen distinctly remembered telling him was one of her favorites and she was shocked to hear Zo's brassy baritone belting out the lyrics to "Santeria". They played a few original songs but Carmen wasn't watching anyone but the drummer as he sweat through white tank top. It clung to his heavily muscled frame and was basically sheer by the time their set ended but still Carmen threw her arms around him when he came off the stage. But it was the kiss she gave him that drew dirty looks from the few groupies of Pinchbeck Rush.

"You guys are awesome," she shouted into his ear, still pressed against his sweaty body but it was clear from the placement of his hands that Zo didn't have a problem with the closeness. "This was definitely a top 10 first date."

"Just 10," he said quietly with his lips on her ear . Zo had to stoop a little to do it causing his hands to drift from her hips to the small of her back. His callused fingers tips found the thin expanse of exposed flesh that peeked out from her t-shirt with her arms around his neck. "You're just gorgeous enough that being serenaded is just a normal thing for you huh," he teased and Carmen rolled her eyes. "Come on and meet the guys," he said with a chuckle and lead her backstage where his band mates were already packing up.

Zo made quick introduction. Holden on lead guitar, his twin brother Hayden did lead vocals and rhythm guitar, then there was Margo on bass. Carmen knew already that the four had grown up together and lived in the house Margo's grandmother left her after she passed away but it was nice to put names to faces since Zo talked a good deal about them. And most of what he said was true. Hayden was just as much the douche Zo said he would be. He barely looked in Carmen's direction when Zo brought her over and quickly disappeared with a half-dressed raven haired girl in torn jeans and a netted tank top. And it was obvious that Holden and Margo were buddies who happened to fall madly in love. Margo welcomed her with open arms, to the city and their group.

"I might be a tomboy but it'll be nice to have a girl around," she said with a giggle as she smoked her cigarette and supervised the boys loading up the van. "Tell me your gonna chill."

"Yeah I think I'll stick around," Carmen said with a smirk as she watched Zo change out of his wet shirt while he talked to Holden by the van. Margo caught that look and let out another giggle.

"I bet you will."

Zo was particularly excited tonight, it was the CD release party and Margo had planned a big party at the house. Since Hayden had left with his woman earlier he was already there, the music playing to cover up the sounds of him pounding away at the groupie in one of the upstairs bedrooms. It didn't work too well and Zo gave Carmen a parting glance to check how she might have reacted.

It seemed as if the party simply appeared. One minute, Zo was showing Carmen his vinyl collection and drumsticks from artists from bands around the world, and the next there were people everywhere and drinks flowing. Each room seemed to almost be a theme, with Hayden dancing with ladies who were smoking weed or drinking down pills with wine coolers.

In a room with the fireplace, Holden was pouring wine with a group of men and women while showing off his knowledge of music. He would describe the patterns of Jim Steinman like a a scientist describing the calculations leading up to a rock launch.

And in the kitchen was
Margo
mixing drinks, checking the beer and offering drinks. Zo took Carmen in here first and Zo offered a big hug and asked, "You want me to mix you anything or are you just a beer girl?"

Outside someone throw something or someone into the pool and a group cheered in excitement.

"Liquor before beer right," Carmen said with smile and leaned into Zo. Margo cheered at that and lined up 3 shot glasses on the counter.

"We have a bit of a tradition around here Carmen," She said with a wide grin and poured a line of Tequila shots. She cheered again when Carmen didn't hesitate and took the shot down like a champ.

Her chest was still on fire though and she sucked in a heavy breath through her teeth. Carmen motioned for another but Margo only filled their glasses, leaving Zo out this round. "To the ladies," she said as she raised her glass and Carmen clinked her glass before they took their shot.

"Now how bout that beer," Carmen said as she slammed her glass down on the counter, rim side down. Margo smiled at that and slid a beer across the counter for her before she excused herself to find Holden. On her way out, she gave so a conspicuous pat on the back and whispered, "I like her."

They were relatively alone after that, huddled together in a corner of the kitchen. It wasn't all that conducive for quiet conversation but still they tried. The noise gave them an excuse to be close and Carmen didn't much mind the occasionally interruptions from Zo's buddies to congratulate him. The groupies didn't bother her either since he made it a point to introduce her to anybody who came their way with a hand somewhere on her person. Even if he used the term "friend" it was clear by the arm around her shoulder or grip he held on her hip that it was more than platonic.

Things started getting crazy around 2 when a shoving match broke out in the backyard and Margo started bouncing people after that. Before long it was just the four of them lounging in beanbag chairs in the loft over the living room. A blunt was rolled and circulated between them as they had the overly philosophical conversations of twenty-somethings with too much time of their hands. At some point Carmen found herself in Zo's lap and she was pleasantly surprised by how natural it felt to be in his arms that way. She sipped his beer and he held the blunt for her as they talked about everything and nothing.

"So you seem pretty cool so far," Margo said eventually as she lit up a cigarette stretched out across Holden's lap. "But you know the best way to get to know each other. A classic game of never have I ever." Carmen shrugged her shoulders and Margo did the honors pouring them all a shot in their solo cups.

"I haven't played since high school and it wasn't that exciting," she said matter-of-factly but still she took up her cup.

Holden laughed and shouted to the ceiling. "Hey, Bro! We're playing never have I ever!"

A muffed "Fuck you!" came back in reply.

Zo let Carmen in on the joke, "We play a pretty cut throat game and Hayden always looses."

Holden rose his hand, "I'll go first. Let the new girl off easy." He touched his glass and said, "Never have I ever been arrested!"

Zo sneered, "Fuck you. You were there asshole." He took his shot.

Holden just smiled as Margo took her own shot. Then said, "My turn! Never have I ever... jerked off to a Playboy Centerfold."

Holden shrugged and downed his shot, but Zo didn't. Holden pointed at him, "No way, dude! You never jerked off to a nude mag?"

Zo glance to Carmen and back, "The question specified Playboy Centerfold."

Margo laughed and Zo refilled for the next round of the game saying, "Carmen. You're turn."

Margo glanced at Zo saying, "The real trick to pick something you've never done but think the others might have. Then call them out on why the claim the did or didn't. That's the real fun."

"Yeah...ummm...I get it...hmmmm," Carmen said, tapping her finger against her chin, feigning deep thought. In reality she'd already made up her mind about what her first never would be. She'd yet to drink and gathered from what she knew of three of them that she probably wouldn't have to, they'd spent their formative years partying and living life while Carmen hid in books.

But that wasn't who she was anymore. The whole bookish thing she couldn't shake but the living part, Carmen was well on her way. A smirk came to her full lips as she glanced around at them all looking at her. "Never have I ever...kissed a girl," she said and set her cup down on the floor, pleased with herself.

"Hold it," Margo said and put her hand over Holden's cup. "This is not how we do things around here. You don't get to be smug about your lack of experience...especially when there's someone here who's more willing to remedy that situation."

Before Carmen could wrap her muddled mind around what Margo said, the olive skinned brunette was moving towards her on her hands and knees. She felt herself leaning forward as their eyes locked and Margo reached up to take Carmen's face in her hands.

"You ready," she said as she brushed her nose against Carmen's. A quiet whimper escaped her making Margo giggle a little before their lips connected.

And it wasn't all one sided. After the initial shock of tasting another woman's lip gloss wore off, Carmen got into it. Her hands went around her back and pulled her closer, though she remained mostly in Zo's lap as Margo's hands drifted done to caressher her.spread thighs. If not for the other woman pulling away, Carmen might not have stopped. She enjoyed it way more than she expected and Carmen found herself blushing as Margo wiped her bottom lip with her thumb.

"Drink up sugar lips," she said with a smirk and handed Carmen her cup. She gave her thigh a little slap as she sat back against Holden's legs and glanced around at the guys. "Who's turn is it?"
