There is a chill in the morning air and a chill that has settled in over the faded Inn. I busy myself with tinder, kindling and logs. The strike of a match the flickering of a flame, and they greedily lick at the logs. The slow warmth of fire on the hearth spreading to warm my outstretched hands.
Evening Mari, Yes the seasons are beginning to change. The Oaks, Maples, and Alders are a blaze in their fall colors, and the mornings are becoming crisp and cool.
I pour Mari a steaming mug of coffee and lace it with good Navy Rum
That should warm you up and take the dampness away. saucy wink
Tatiana you look very tiered dear been working Hard?
Even as I ask my question I pour the demoness her Blood wine.
Here something to warm the insides as well. Summer is slipping away and fall is making its appearance. Oh I am quite sure there will be warmer days and the memory of summer temps but the days are shorter and the seasons turning.
Thanks CG yes it has been tiring at work. yesterday was the first live race of the 9 month season and I had to train 2 people in 2 different posts. one area is just the track lights but the other is the trackside gate and what to do in case a horse goes down or is loose on the track. but I was in my element and the race secretary/race way and gamming manager new I could handle it as I have known him for 8 years
