Considering the amount of light and the current layout I agree. I would naturally tend towards a brighter green, but for your layout I think the circled choice works perfectly.

Is it a small room? If so go bold on one wall with a big pattern wall paper. Can look very cool. I’ve got 4 foot high thistles on my downstairs loo wall. They look great. And panelling below.
