Vinde said:Hey Mach. Here you go sweetie. I will definitely stop in here more often. How was your weekend?![]()

Vinde said:Well except the picking up girls part it sounds like my weekend in a way. Got a little drunk and watched a good and bad movie. What was good and what was bad?
Haven't seen either of those. Walked by doom and thought about it, but we passed. We saw Derailed, which was good, had a nice twist in it. We also saw Stay, it was very confusing and didn't make much sense until the very end.Machiavellix said:The good was Serenity, which I had expected to be pretty good, since I was a fan of the series to begin with, but I still blown away by how well it was made.
The bad was Doom, which was to be expected. It was kinda cool though to see (if I'm spoiling this at all, I'm sorry) The Rock as a bad guy.

Sounds interesting. I'll keep my eyes open for it.Machiavellix said:I haven't seen either of yours as well. If your a fan of sci-fi at all, I highly highly recommend seeing Serenity. It's a Star Wars-y type movie, but with Western elements thrown in.
The series was about a crew who of mercenaries who find a teenage psychic and her older brother stowing away in their ship. He snuck his way into an Alliance (the bad guys) facility and using his doctor credentials, kidnapped her. The movie picks up where the bad guys have sent an assassin after them to kill this girl, as she holds in her unstable mind a secret that could destroy the entire Alliance.
There's no real stars in it, but the cast is excellent.

How's your week shaping up? Busy?
It is easier to get stuff done during the week isn't it? Ok now I have to ask what is your new job. 1 in the morning? That's brutal.Machiavellix said:I have tomorrow and Friday off. No weekends anymore. At least not Saturday and Sunday. I'm fine with that, though. It's easier to get things done during the week.
I love my new job. The day goes so much faster now. Last Friday was a bitch, though. We had a huge order in and I didn't get done til nearly 1 AM.
