It is not America itself, it is the unpredictablity of the current President that worries America's allies.

Trump can bluster about NATO all he wants. You give him way too much power. Nato is a treaty alliance ratified by congress which prohibits Trump from doing a damn thing about pulling out of NATO and restricts a president from failing to meet our obligations or responses to article 5. TURN DOWN THE VOLUME ALREADY. Congress is the body that can declare war. I can tell you this though, there are many politicians not happy with Germany and Turkey.

I've often wondered that if Russia invaded Montenegro how many NATO members would put it all on the line. The only members I would trust is Poland, Aussies and UK. Canada as well.

It was a 90 day ban directed towards Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Iran, Somalia and the Sudan, all countries known for terrorist activities and were not friendly to US interest. It was touted as a muslim ban by E Warren herself. Expounded on by senator Murphy as a pathway to ISIS. THAT LIST WAS DEVELOPED IN 2015 BY THE OBAMA ADMIN, but as usual Trump takes the wrap for an Obama admin policy, kind of reminds you of the use of cages at our Southern border, "ORANGE MAN BAD"

I've used the expression myself and thought I knew what it meant, but I've been rethinking that, are we truly based on judeau/Christian values?
Maybe once, long ago, but not any more.
We cherry pick those parts of judeau/Christian lore that suit us and discard those that don't. Example: working on the sabbath? Try telling your boss that one and avoid getting dismissed, yet the Old Testament punishment for working on the sabbath is death. There are many more from Leviticus and Deuteronomy that we ignore these days. Who amongst us could recite all 10 of the commandments without a prompt.
And what about the golden rules that jesus gave us. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Have we ever taken that one seriously? What about turn the other cheek, or love your enemies, or pluck out your eye if it offends you. Some hope! There are other messages about the accumulation of wealth and material things that we largely ignore, about pride, about taxes, all of which we in the modern world just ignore.
On reflection, we may have a judeau/Christian heritage but I think it may have been centuries since it meaningfully affected our lives directly.
I don't think I'll be using it as a description of my heritage any more. It certainly has no particular meaning to my country and from what I know of its history, never has.

That's you! you're free to believe what you will and live the truth as you believe it to be. Myself, I come from a Catholic upbringing and though I don't profess to be holier than thou I do believe in those golden rules and try to live within them, if for no other reason it makes me feel better. I believe the family unit is the strength of a nation and having a science background I believe a Supreme Being can co-exist with the advancement of science. If you research the NORAD treaty and Bomarc missile's on google for a start, you might get some education on the matter (Bomarc are for background info). I'll further educate you some more on the joint defence agreements between the US and Canada after you get caught up on those two.

As a candidate for president , Trump said all Muslims, ( He said it on Fox btw) his travel ban as President though was only for certain countries. Which took three tries to get through the courts. The third and watered down version was finally passed by SCOTUS. Which means we are all technically correct.

SCOTUS doesn't pass anything, it overruled a lower court decision.
