1. The Great Barrier Reef: the coral bleaching is far worse than what I imagined. I suppose the disappointment was more in regards to how it came to be in such an endangered state.

2. State Parliament House: visiting in primary school, the behaviour of the politicians was a real disappointment. They swore more than pirates!

3. Returning home: all the changes that have taken place within me as I’ve grown in the last 3 years...I came to see that it was never really a home.

Now that was dark! Let’s get more positive.
