Hey there,
I'm new to Literotica and very recently I submitted four stories to be published here but all were rejected.
Having read the guidelines I believe my stories fall within them and do not violate any terms and conditions.
I'm more than happy to work with a moderator to help me overcome the issues as to why my stories are rejected. I am also happy to modify my stories where needed in order to get them posted here.
Thankyou for reading. I welcome any and all advice.

"Please fix the formatting of your dialogue" is the one thing that the moderators suggested when they rejected my stories. As above, I'm more than happy to work with a moderator to help me overcome the issue, But can someone please shed some light as to how I go about fixing the format of my dialogue please?

Maybe make a new post in the Editors Forum, share the moderator note that you got in your rejection, and then also share like a paragraph of your dialog, so we can see how you wrote it?

If you do that we might be able to see what the problem is and how you can fix it! 😊

Find a basic grammar primer, punctuate your dialogue correctly, have a separate paragraph for each speaker, and keep the punctuation inside the speech marks. Those are the usual areas writers get knocked back, if dialogue formatting is the reason for rejection.

And for ease of reading, lose as many dialogue tags as you can. And don't have the characters say each other's name in every sentence. I once read a story here that went something like this:

"Abby, we can't keep doing this," I said.
"Bob, it's so much fun, I don't want to stop," she replied.
"Abby, you know it's wrong."
"Bob, I do, but it feels right."
"Abby, please don't tempt me..."
Etc.

My first story was rejected, partly because for dialogue I used the English, instead of the American, style. Many sites accept both, but this one doesn't. Hence I had to use double quotation marks and put the punctuation inside them. Once I did that, the story was accepted.

I agree with all the suggestions above, but if I were you, I'd also consider help from one of the VOLUNTEER EDITORS. Their help is very useful, especially for NEW writers.
That's what I did for my first 2 stories, and so far I have published more than 300.
