Unexpected Encounters [Nurse/Patient]

Brie had a big smile on her face as she walked over to him. She pulled him down into a soft kiss. "Thank you so much."she said. Brie walked back into the dressing room and changed. She came back out and they got the dress ready to go. "Hun you need a tux."she said. Brie motioned to the dressing room.

Daniel's eyebrow rose in mild amusement. "Oh?" his voice was low and teasing as he tilted his head innocently, letting her guide him into the changing room. "I'm not sure how I'd look in a 'tux', whatever that is," he murmured softly, confused as he noticed the scandalized look the worker shot him, though that was more likely from the comment than his companion. "What color would you think would look best?" he said shyly, blushing.

Brie giggled softly, "Classic black tux, white shirt with a bowtie." She knew that the associate would understand and help him. Brie waited then smiled as he walked out. "Hun you look amazing!!!"she said. She would of course help him get dressed that day.

Daniel shrugged as the worker assisted him, though he did notice with interest that her touch didn't arouse him at all. He was mildly surprised at the way Brie's gaze roamed his body with a look that made it obvious she REALLY liked what she saw. He saw the small blush, though it didn't escape his attention that the worker didn't notice it. "I'm nothing special, unlike the one I'm staring at, " his voice was low and teasing as he tilted his head innocently, amused as she blushed deeply as she looked away as if embarrassed. "I wonder what the Old Man is doing," he murmured softly, thinking about one of the more memorable people he'd met; being called Old Man had actually highly amused the elder. He exhaled softly as he changed back into the more casual clothes, though it was as he stepped out that he heard the echoing boom of an explosion. His eyes widened slightly as he saw Brie's head turn towards the door, though he didn't notice the bracelet on his right wrist glowing with a hot red light. He darted for the door, unaware that the case holding the bracelet he'd gotten Brie was aglow with a heated blue light along its edge. "Stay back from the door, just in case," he warned.

Brie indeed was liking what she was seeing. Daniel looked absolutely handsome in his tux. After she heard this loud explosion that made her cover her ears. Brie looked over at the door then back at Daniel. She reached out for him as she was terrified. Brie felt him pull her close to comfort her. She was trembling as he held her.

Daniel held Brie close before he heard the worker yell in surprise. His gaze flickered to the window and door before his eyes widened at the shocking sight; the creature was just under eight feet tall and almost skeletally thin, yet the muscles he could see seemed powerful and dense. "Find those Òrama Chiólia, you fools!" he heard it snarl. His eyes widened slightly as he spotted at least four other odd creatures. "What's going on?" his voice was low and scared. He didn't notice the bracelet glowing a bright red, though he did hear the sharp pop of breaking glass, not noticing that the bracelet he'd purchased for Brie had shot through the display window and slid a few feet, stopping inches from Brie's hand on the floor. "Òrama... I think... is Greek for 'spirit', though I'm not certain," he murmured softly, his eyes widening as he felt something yank him backwards, not knowing of the thickly muscled, dark blue skinned arm gripping his shoulder and neck. He did, however, notice when he was thrown across the sidewalk and into the street. "Okay... that hurt," he groaned as he sat up slowly, his head aching. He rose to his feet, grimacing at the glass that showered off of him. "Hand over the bracelet. It's power will destroy one such as you, human," the demonic beast snarled l.

Before she knew it, Daniel was thrown out into the street. Brie picked up the bracelet though she was still trembling. She wanted to help but couldn't move an inch. Fear had taken over as she just stood there. Though she began to back up slowly as one of the creatures looked at her.

Daniel gritted his teeth as he stood slowly. He felt a presence in his mind that wasn't his, yet it felt powerful and oddly comforting. "I don't plan on giving you anything... considering you don't seem to care about harming innocent people," his voice was low and intense. He noticed from the corner of his eye one of the creatures stalking through the destroyed door. "No human is innocent. They're only worth the pain we can draw from them," the skeletal demon growled. "Says a creature who lacks faith in everything and everyone... I have faith and courage.... sure I'm scared out of my mind... yet what is courage but acting despite our fears?" he murmured softly, unaware that Brie could hear him clearly. He saw the demon lift a large clawed hand before a jet of dark orange-red energy lanced out. He instinctively shifted, not noticing that in the seconds before the blast impacted, the glowing red gemstone flared, creating a narrow column of transparent red light surrounding him even as the explosion detonated, blowing out the display windows. He noticed the demon that had entered the store was hurled out forcibly, sapphire electricity crackling over its body. He blinked as the flames blew out, the Ruby aura receding into the bracelet. He could tell that the demonic creature was startled as his eyes narrowed. "Huh... my turn," he said in a low voice as he felt the same Presence guiding him as the gemstone began pulsing. His fingers brushed over the gemstone as his eyes half closed before snapping open. Almost immediately the gemstone flared as his body shone for several seconds. He blinked as his vision sharpened abruptly.

He didn't realize that his body was clad in a dark red bodysuit with twin deep golden stripes running down the outside of his legs, deep silver-black boots and gloves, whilst a thick pale gold band held an odd item. His head was covered by a helmet with deep golden-bronze stripes over the top and sides of his head while the black visor was formed of a shallow inverted 'V'. Where his mouth should have been was several thin slits. He cocked his head as he inhaled sharply as he felt energy rushing through his body. He suspected, correctly, that the electrical energy had come from Brie's bracelet.

Brie watched the creature carefully as she backup. Not even noticing that her bracelet was glowing. Yet the creature turned and raced towards Daniel. This gave Brie a chance to hide behind the counter. She was still trembling hoping this would end soon. Brie found those creatures absolutely terrifying.

Daniel shifted his weight in a sudden movement, twisting into a powerful tornado kick that impacted with the top of his foot into the side of its head, and before he touched the ground, spun his torso around into a brutal spinning hook kick where the heel buried deep within the demonic creature's upper abdomen and launched it head-over-heels. "Retreat with whatever you have... or you will get humiliated," his voice was low and intense. He was almost certain that the demonic beast would refuse. From its almost immediate scoff, he was right. He saw the quartet of the odd demonic foot soldiers near the skeletal one, though he wasn't all that surprised when the other three charged at him. "Not likely, especially without that Phantom Morpher... and your head for interfering," it snarled. "Meh. Can't say I didn't try to keep it peaceful," Daniel deadpanned as his hand brushed over his shoulder. His hand swiped over the 'Phantom Morpher' before he blinked as, in a surge of reddish orange light, a pair of blades, hilts being a dark red, whilst the blades were a brilliant golden color with a burnt orange razor's edge. He shifted his hand, gripping both hilts with the blades along his inner forearms in a loose reversed grip.

Brie covered her ears as she closed her eyes. She was hoping this would all end soon. Brie was just trembling as she was so afraid. All she wanted was for Daniel to hold her close and tell her everything was going to be okay.

Daniel saw the demons pause as familiar, at least to him, flute music played. A smirk flickered over his face before crackling arcs of golden energy sheared into the demons, throwing them back in blasts of smoke and sparks. "Like I said, humiliated," his voice was low and dry. "You may have that former Org assisting you, but," the demon snarled as Daniel darted at high speed towards the tallest demon, itself.... then slammed into it. "Burning Thunder," Daniel whispered, tilting his head as he twisted the blades so they rested just above his knees on his thighs. Almost the moment they touched the odd suit, bright crimson electricity detonated from the demon along with a half dozen separate blasts of smoke and sparks from its upper body as it was hurled backwards, slamming into the car beyond the one directly behind it... the one behind it being Brie's own car. He saw the demon roll off, sprawling on the ground before the ground seemed to smolder and ripple, absorbing the demon's form with a horrible rotten egg odor. "Hey, Kuroikami," he deadpanned, making the tall raven haired man, Kuro, snort.

Brie was now softly crying as she was so terrfied. Those demons have almost traumatized her. Yet her bracelet was still glowing blue. Making Daniel's shock him a bit to have him check on Brie. Who was still behind the desk, trembling in fear. She was the only one in there.

Daniel winced as he felt the sting before he turned and darted into the store. He grimaced as much of the inventory was dirty or ripped in places. He did notice that the boxes for his and Brie's clothes were a bit dusty, but seemed fine. "You okay?" his voice was low and concerned, unaware that his appearance would be very startling. He felt the strange Presence fade away, though he could feel it faintly, almost like a sibling that you know you have, yet can't see.

Brie looked over and jumped a little then soon realized it was Daniel. She got up and hugged him right right away as tears rolled down her face. "I'm fine....."she said. Brie clung to him as she felt much better being in his arms.

Daniel closed his eyes, not seeing the ruby-garnet corona that flashed around him for a few seconds before fading away from sight as the bodysuit vanished, leaving him in dirty clothes. He was breathing hard and was a bit pale. "L-let's get out of here, eh? I'll be honest, whatever those things were.... I was scared out of my effing mind," his voice was low and honest as he almost collapsed next to Brie. He didn't notice that he wore a dark red belt and buckle around his waist. "Ugh... heads throbbing," Daniel whispered, wincing. "Wonder what it was," he mumbled.

Brie nodded her head before grabbing the boxes before they headed out. She helped him get into the car then put the boxes in the backseat. "Let's get you home. I'll get you something for the pain and you rest okay."she said. Brie wanted him to relax hoping he didn't push his body.

Daniel exhaled softly, unaware the scars from the injuries Alana had caused were more faded, and the internal injuries were a bit more strongly healed. "Thank you, Brie," his voice was low and shy. his eyes half closing as he took a deep, careful breath. "I still feel it, that strange Presence," he murmured thoughtfully as he saw Brie's reflection in her mirror as she walked towards the driver's door. "I wonder if she has one of these 'Phantom Morphers'. Are these bracelets these strange 'Morphers' in a dormant state?" "Maybe we should... get some..." he started as she got in before his stomach grumbled loudly. He winced slightly, blushing.

Brie smiled as she got in the car. "I'll make you something when we get back to the house."she said. She drive them back to the house then helped him inside. Brie then made sure she got everything out of the car. Setting the decorations downstairs before taking their clothes upstairs. She came back down and headed straight for the kitchen. Brie did in fact find a full fridge of food. She made him a sandwich,before taking it to him with aspirin. "Eat and take that for the headache. Once you are done, I want you to rest."she said.
 
Brie began to unpack the Christmas decorations. "What those things....they were like from a nightmare."she said. It worried her a bit though needed to be sure that Daniel was okay. She waited until he was done to take the plate into the kitchen. Brie walked back over and took his hand. She lead him up to the bedroom. "Now rest....please."she said. Brie made sure to cover him up with a blanket.

Daniel exhaled, running his fingers through his hair and making it a mess. "I have no idea. Though those things seemed focused on getting my bracelet... and tried to get yours... only to get get knocked on its ass. That larger one called mine a 'Phantom Morpher' which sounds like something out of a Sentai... yet those things were all too real," his voice was low and thoughtful as Brie led him towards the bedroom. "Honestly? I wouldn't be surprised to have unpleasant dreams after seeing those things. You had better not exhaust yourself with homework, as I'm not sure how well I'll sleep... without you," his voice was low and very shy.

Brie heard the last part and smiled. She then took his hand. "Would you prefer sleeping downstairs on the couch, so you are close by?"she asked. Brie wanted to be sure that he was taken care of first. She would lay down Daniel until he fell asleep.

Daniel blushed deeply as she spoke, glancing away. "I noticed that you're wearing the bracelet," his voice was low and shy, noticing the bracelet on her wrist. "Those things... I don't think they're gone for good... but from what I saw... whatever the bracelet was able to summon... intimidated them. I won't say I wasn't terrified.... probably as much or more than you... only thing that kept me moving was that those things wouldn't have stopped... especially if you were in danger," his voice was low and very shy.

Brie blushed as she looked away for a bit. She then snuggled up to Daniel. "Hun I was so worried about you. I didn't want you to push yourself. Though get some rest love."she said. Brie kissed his cheek before pulling a blanket over them.
