The story I picked to write was not working well, not making sense to me, so I stopped. It's a good thing, too. The next day I was given a huge, HUGE, documentation project at work, one that took most of my writing time the last 2 weeks.

well, I think it's pretty wonderful that you warmed up in October and wrote in November. It just turns out that the writing energy was needed for work writing rather than creative. And the percolating of ideas was good in itself, right?! The story within a story with the speculative fiction piece was challenging in concept and execution, but hey, you challenged yourself and I applaud that.

have you noticed the sling pictures at various points in the thread? -- the sling hangs from a door and is also quite adjustable
