Hey y'all. Glad to be here. I had posted several stories the other day and they were in pending.

However, I noticed they weren't in pending anymore, but I don't see them live.

What am I missing? I am brand spanking new so apologies for the thread if this isn't the place.

The two simplest possibilities are that they got posted to a different category than you intended, or they got rejected. If they are not visible in either your 'Published Stories' or 'Sent Back' folders in your 'My Stories' control panel, you may want to consider contacting Laurel here in the forum by sending a direct message to her (the envelope icon). She may not respond directly, but if there was a glitch or other error on the site's end, she usually addresses it pretty promptly. Drafts have occasionally been known to vanish; I don't recall anyone reporting a Pending story vanishing, but it's not inconceivable.
If your stories got recategorized, it would show up on the Published Stories title card, but would be easy to overlook if you're not expecting it.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I just reopened the stories page and they now show in pending, but each story has a "published" tag under them. Do you know if there may be a delay between approved stories and their actual publishing time?

Is there a date under the Published? If so, that date is when it goes live.

It's not uncommon for stories to be set as published with a future date.

Check the date; it probably says 01/02/2025. The new stories typically update around midnight in the US, depending on the time zone.

Yes there is! Looks like it shows 01/02 and 01/03 for different stories. I had no idea, thanks again you rock.

Yes, there is a delay. The site publishes at midnight somewhere in America time. Patience, grasshopper .
