I love Charley, but I respectfully disagree. I adore men, just not all of them. ;)

I hope that I'm one of the guys you like, but Florida just got a first down, so I'm cursing....

Florida is playing Georgia.

Georgia is my mom's alma mater. :)

We're an SEC family, what can I say?

My mom went to Georgia, my dad to Auburn, my sister to Alabama, and I went to UT. :D

Saturdays in the fall are really fun at our house.

SEC = SouthEastern Conference....it's one of the biggest, most contested football conferences in the country, with powerhouse football teams.

the University of Tennessee (UT - where I went to school), and the University of Alabama (where my sister went to school), are traditional rivals - HUGELY competitive rivals.

Auburn University (where my dad went to school) and the University of Alabama are both in Alabama, and are also HUGE rivals, although not on the scale of UT vs. Bama.

Georgia's in the mix too, so it's always fun when you have football games on Saturday, and we all went to different football powerhouse schools.

For instance, right now, the rankings for those schools are as follows (for their football teams):

Alabama, #5 in the nation

Georgia, #6 in the nation

Auburn, #24 in the nation

Tennessee, #27 in the nation (this is unusual in the extreme.....Tennessee is almost always in the top ten)

OMG!!!!....

Being born and raised in Alabama I have to say the Auburn is an awesome team, though my favorite team, Florida State is in the ACC. I wish they were in the SEC, so we can see who really is the best team in the SEC.

Auburn is aweborn....but for now, Florida is leading 14 to 0 over Georgia where I live

Yeah, since I live here, I'm forced to choose, and I have to go with Auburn. :D

I also have a bumper sticker on one of our vehicles that says, "Beat the rush. Hate Bama early."

:D
