I really dislike anything that lists peoples names, because as this thread, when you don't find your name on anyone's list it tends to make someone sad or hurt...

An excellent point and, in general, I agree. Its easy to inadvertently leave someone's name off a list and therefore risk hurting their feelings. Especially when you're multi-tasking (which is the only way I can be here when at work). So I tend to avoid any threads that require listing names for good or for bad.

So, having said that... here's my list:

Funny thing is, I'm not really Republican born or bred. It's what I've picked for myself to be. I frequently argue politics with my dad and we rarely vote the same. I have to vote just to cancel out HIS vote! LOL

In RL, I'm accused of being everything from far left liberal to right wing republican. It all depends on the topic and who is doing the evaluating.

My mom is a Republican for the same reason that you are--her parents are die-hard Dems, bless their hearts, and I think that she became a Rep just to spite them in her younger years.
