Why is the loving wives crowd so harsh?

Quick question for the more experienced authors out there. I have 31 stories published; 3 in bdsm 1 in fetish and the rest are incest. I enjoy brother sister incest but on a dare wrote a mother son that probably because I wrote it as a thowaway became my highest voted story. The same person has dared me to do a "loving wives" story telling me it takes real balls to do one on this site. I have in the past seen some authors post that you pretty much have to be a masochist to write in this field and that the comments are pretty brutal and little red h's are pretty tough to come by. Just curious as to why that is? Is it because all the people reading them have been cheated on? I am just curious as I am debating it but honestly haven't read enough of them to even get a great plot idea in the meantime just wondering what exactly I am up against (as the its a $100 bet that I can't get a 4.5)

incest is the easiest category to write in. the stories don't even have to make sense on any level. you really should venture out of it more often if you want to really kow how good you are.

but... yeah, i have no idea why loving wife readers are such hardasses, but it's the internet, dude. if you take assholes seriously and can't get past them you might as well get offline now and never bother to log on again.

I think you're right about incest being the easiest. It's certainly the largest and honestly I don;t have half the following as some other incest stories because my characters are developed and it's not sis looked hot in her shorts so i jumped in then we all did, so I have a few trolls even in that catagory. My next project will be in BDSM which is allegedly the second harshest crowd but figured I'd take a stab at the wives and you are right I will see it as test and won't take it seriously I mean iwrite for fun certainly not profit. thanks for the reply

Basically the category attracts people off their hinges that have been cheated on and want blood. It's just nut-wads. I'd go post it out in author's hang out though.

A large percentage of the commenters in the Loving Wives category wouldn't know a loving wife if she blew them while cooking their favorite meal and then got them a beer. They seem to be largely bitter assholes who want to see stories about wives who cheated and then got brutally tortured to death. These folks have some serious issues.

Your question was directed at inexperienced authors as opposed to myself (though I could have posted my first in LW had I chosen to), but as a fan of this category I may be able to offer a limited insight.

" - well I was, and I recognise that somehow in my weird mind I turned that into a fantasy with myself as a cautiously reluctant inwardly excited cuckold. There's a school of thought that all your fantasies are therapeutic. It would maybe make sense that the nutters who read the story then get upset are going through an angry process.

Equally to me at least, the partnership between a couple in love is one of the most sacred values, and central to many peoples religion which is emotive in itself. There is a lot of emotion there - one of the reasons I enjoy the category is this emotional element.

As a reader, what I do find is that stories often don't go the way my 'perfect fantasy' would do, and that can be disapointing having spent 15 mins reading it. i.e. To me, I love the aspect of the female dominating the husband, and aspect I often don't find, whilst a turn off is direct domination of the husband by the bull(s), which I often find. Similarly, to many the story isn't complete without the feminised husband / or what I'd class bi male activity like cum eating - yet to me, that's a disapointed turn off.

Maybe there are a lot of disrespectful clowns out there that get disapointed when a story doesn't in the end turn out to be exactly what they would like.
