Why Voting for Democrats Won't Stop Trump

When Trump's power gets threatened by the people, Democratic politicians stand at the ready to lend Trump a helping hand.

"Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s decision to send State Police to anti-ICE protests in Newark was meant to keep the Trump administration from escalating the situation. Instead, it has opened her administration to criticism from a fellow Democrat and others on the left.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said on Tuesday the State Police’s efforts to quell protests outside a federal immigration facility over the weekend 'kind of resembled what ICE was doing in the first place .'"

What Sherill has done resembles what Democrats in California and Oregon have done already. Send out local police to brutalize protesters and claim it's better to do that than have Trump do it.

"At least it's not Trump" has been the battle cry of liberals since 2021, all the while liberal politicians were doing to the people what Trump was going to do, anyway.

The only thing that's going to stop fascism is the same thing that always has: A mass organization of the working class.

They have yet to reconcile 6,264,271, and they have no logical or acceptable explanation. Nothing but lockstep party lies and another round of the narrative.

BDC has started multiple threads with the same basic bullshit premise, and Low T-Wat either hasn’t noticed or they just want to fan-girl on BDC.

😑

👉 Low T-Wat 🤣

We. Told. Them. So.

You mean as opposed to your "You must pledge total loyalty to a political party that does nothing for you. I'm totally not a fascist" shtick you've been running?

If the DSA had gotten behind Kamala Harris in ‘24, Trump would have been toast. But they were too wrapped up in their “both sides” nonsense to take a stand when it mattered.
The maybe you shouldn't support genocide like a fucking fascist. Or support concentration camps like a fucking fascist. Or support mass deportations like a fucking fascist. Or be against labor unions like a fucking fascist. 🤷

Liberals want Trump's policies and then wonder why people voted for Trump instead 😂

There was no genocide in Gaza. No one in the Democratic Party supports concentration camps or mass deportations. The Democratic Party is also pro-labor.

Your country is a two party state, and until there is a viable third party somehow; not voting Democrat is the same as voting for Trump. It's sad but true, and your pretension and condescension won't change that
The policies are the same no matter which party is in charge. The only thing that brings change in America is the only thing that ever worked, and that's mass organization of the working class that operates outside of electoral politics

DSA fuckwits are worse than MAGAts in a very specific way: Their words are more damaging to decent Democrats than anything the MAGAts can say. (See also: The damage Susan Sarandon and Bernie Sanders, etc, did to Hillary Clinton in 2016.)

Fuck the DSA fuckwits on this board and elsewhere to hell.

I'm not even DSA, lol.

But you're right. We're damaging to the capitalist Democrats, because the Democrats need our support to win.

We'll keep voting third party until the Democrats stop being a party of, by, and for the wealthy. Better tell your party to surrender to the left.

I guess I must not be a 'liberal' then.

Understand this, fuckwit:

I and mine are doing fine -regardless.

You believe that I / we need you more than you need me / us???

🤔 😳 😑 🤣

I / we (decent Democrats) want to help foster a more equitable system, but I / we will NOT "BURN IT ALL DOWN!!!" as the first step towards achieving our goal.

Join us OR not. Just understand that things CAN / WILL get WORSE if you don’t compromise. (See: DonOld & the MAGAt republicans.)

Your choice.

Mass organization of the working class outside of electoral politics has never accomplished anything in America.

"I won't do anything to get people on my side". FTFY

Thanks again for the bump.

Side note:

“Bump-A-Chump” to get MY / OUR (decent Democrats) message across is the same as “Whack-A-MAGAt”. (Yeah, I’m using you.)

I know. You're using me to get the dopamine fix that you get from arguing with people online without regard for the damage that you do to your party. And I'm using your desire to rage bait you into bumping my posts. People wouldn't have seen this if you weren't so determined to get that fix.

BDC was rage baited into creating this thread, and they continue to be rage baited by those of us using their thread as a platform for OUR message (Yeah, we hijacked BDC’s thread).

If every vote counts, you'd think one of the voices of the party of tolerance, diversity, [equality], and inclusion wouldn't chase potential voters away with their rhetoric.

I'm. Not. A. MAGAt.

🌷

Did you vote ever vote for Trump???

🤔

Yes. I voted for him because my dad is a veteran and he voted for him. I put family over politics.

You seem to think I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Trump supporter. It's true I haven't said much against him. I think he's a slimebag conman. He's still in charge, so I support him as our President.

I didn't ask for tariffs.

I didn't ask for a war.

It doesn't matter whether I voted for him or not. Partly because, if you want to assign blame, then blame the Electoral College. Partly because I DON'T HAVE ANY CONTROL over his actions. If he was my personal puppet, I'd be rich.
