Working from home and not shaving

Until recently I had a regular routine of shaving my legs and armpits every 2-3 days. But since I started working from home because of the virus, I haven't touched my razor once. It wasn't a conscious decision. Everything was just kind of weird and chaotic and I was mostly wearing yoga pants or sweat pants anyway so there didn't seem to be a point. So here I am three weeks later and I'm thinking I'm kind of okay with being completely natural ... at least for the near future.

This is probably the longest I've even gone without shaving. Over the winter I' usually drop down to once a week for my legs, but I've never stopped shaving my armpits before. Now there's a noticeable little tuft under each arm. There's not much on my thighs, but my calves are kind of furry.

I know my husband has noticed, but hasn't said anything about it yet. I don't think he minds. He likes that I don't shave my bush, so he might actually prefer me natural. It was weird at first ... when it was first growing out, having unshaven armpits made me kind of gross and dirty, but I've gotten used to it now and it's fine. I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go out in public like this, but right now no one is seeing me but my family. Once I'm able to go back to the office though I'll probably shave myself baby smooth again.

I guess this isn't really a post about sex ... although anything involving body hair (or the lack of it) seems to be fetish fodder. I'm mostly interested if other people are having similar experiences. Any other women going natural for the duration of quarantine? Any guys growing huge bushy beards?

I thought about growing the beard out, but it starts to irritate me at a certain length. Same for cock hair/bush. I don't feel comfortable after a certain point and prefer to be shaved, but that's just me.

But your post did get me wondering how hairy Audrey Hepburn's bush ever got, so there's that.

My beard is well groomed but it usually about an inch and a half on my chin. I would have normally gotten it cleaned up about a week ago so it is starting to get a little more bushy like king Leonidas. I do shave my cheeks and I have also been keeping other parts groomed so far.

The virus and social distancing doesn't change much for us. My wife doesn't really grow hair on her pits - but what she has smells very good. She prefers her pussy shaved - and more specifically, for me to shave it for her - while I prefer it unshaven, and a lot of that has to do with how it smells and feels to bury my face there (*swoon*). It's an interesting dilemma for sure. She'll let it grow while I hold out, but eventually she'll tell me it's been too long since I've done my job. I'd quit if she didn't like both the act of being shaved and being shaved so much.

There are at least two threads on Lit focusing on unshaven women. I think unshaven women now are what shaven women were in the 70s and 80s: something different; someone who rejects Society's norms and does her own thing.

I personally have no preference (if I am near enough to a naked woman to know if she shaves or not, I'm not complaining at all).

I love that idea, but I am so conditioned to not have hair on my legs or my pits. Even when I let it go just a few days I find myself being self conscious about it...

When I was in my 20 and 30 I shaved my bush at least 3 times a week. When I decided to stop, it took a few months for me to get used to it.

I stopped shaving largely because supermarket had no shaving gel (it's amazing the things people will panic buy!). I gave up today and shaved partly as it felt uncomfortable and partly because I couldn't believe how many different colours of hair I had in my beard lol

I first come across women not shaving whilst in the Army in Germany in the 1980’s.
I found it strangely erotic, to a point.
It it gets too long and unkempt, I find it a bit of a turn off.

Changes in the routine

I have also felt the effects of coronavirus on my daily routine. I am shaving less often though I have not completely given it up. I usually shave every 2-4 days but currently I’ll let my hair grow for a little more than a week before shaving.

Other changes I’ve since being stuck at home include only showering every other day instead of every day, not wearing deodorant, not wearing makeup. and never wearing a bra.

My goatee and hair are much longer than normal. Not so far gone that I’m not still plucking the occasional nose hair. Lol

I tried to let my pits to grow out once when visiting Italy many years ago. My husband was working on location and I went over to be with him for awhile. Drove me crazy the way it felt when it gtrew out more than I ever let it. I have not tried since I keep them smooth and soft since. I had laser treatments so no furry legs or bush any more.

Due to the quarantine I do notice myself taking more time in between shaving however when I do pick it back up again I'm reminded at how much I like being hairless.
