Writing scenes you have no experience with

The question has to be asked, if you don't have any experience in a sex act you're writing about, what's stopping you getting it? For example if you're a guy wanting to improve your descriptions of blow jobs from a female point of view, why not hook up with a gay guy just the once. As they say "suck it and see." Don't give me any of that ,"I'm not gay," crap. I'm not a vegan but I still eat salads.

Truth is there's no sexual act out there you can't find someone to help you with if you just ask around nicely.

Monogamous partners tend to frown on that.

Another women are stupid scenario. But some are, so have fun with it.
Actually, I could imagine a story about the posts just above, the asking a gay friend for a blowjob. The back and forth there is rather amusing. "Just ask nicely." But I'm trying to write it "from a female perspective." Yeah, but you're not female, so you're going to have to use your imagination and make up something anyway.

Might be some comedy potential in that scenario.

What's the Literotica equivalent of "Oscar Bait" ? 😅

Well, I'm not going to try it. But I could imagine it as two sets of overlapping segments. The first is the story the OP imagines he will create. The second is his "real-life" attempts to gain the experiences he feels like he's lacking.

Weren't there movies like that? Maybe The Purple Rose of Cairo where The Mia Farrow character loses her ability to distinguish fiction from reality?

And if you ask nicely enough, they may be willing to help you two or three times. :)

I suspect that there are some things that your friends and acquaintances won't do no matter how nicely you ask. Of course, that depends on what kinds of people you know. Otherwise, there are professionals available for pay, but they may charge quite a bit for their services.

Also Adaptation, and basically every other movie Charlie Kaufman ever wrote 😅

Instructions were not clear. My friend gave me the blowjob instead.

E: Thanks to this thread now I can't stop wondering how did Cleland wrote Fanny Hill from prison without research.
