“There’s a certain element in this community who are too comfortable riding around with semi automatic weapons, automatic weapons, convergent switches

History shows us that free societies tend to object on occasion to the strong arm tactics of totalitarians.
SevMax2 made a call for nonviolence and a peaceful transfer of power.
Although very vague on your grasp of American history - YOU just dogwhistled a call for the opposite.

Once upon a time, some guy named Tyler took umbrage with a tax increase. Silly bastard thought it was free or something. Apparently, his neighbors agreed with him.

Who knew?

Tyler who?
Do you mean the Tyler Durden that's a fictional character who is also a figment of the imagination of the lead in a movie who is so frustrated with the system that he shoots himself in the head and wakes up to blow up insurance companies???

The question was to name occasions of of uprisings against totalitarianism in the US - preferably recent and not associated with BLM but against white society.

Also... wat is weak. wat needs daily affirmation to justify him continuing to live. wat is freakin old.

Wat Tyler the First was beheaded for his troubles. His unwanted head was displayed on London Bridge as a warning to any other fools.

The last time that anyone revolted over a mere election, it didn't end well for the rebels (a little thing called the Civil War....you might have heard of it). You win, you lose, you take your lumps, you move on. It's not worth revolting because your side didn't win. Just take your lumps and try again later.

The problem is, we have one side who won't take their lumps and move on, and will do anything to stay in power, quite literally.

You mean the side that tried to stop the ratification of the electoral votes on January 6, and whose leader is now saying he has all the votes he needs?

Not at all. I certainly didn't mean peaceful protestors. I was referring to the ones that rioted and destroyed billions of dollars worth of property, attacked the police, killed people and screamed resistance, attempted to assassinate Supreme Court justices and a former President, as well as members of Congress, etc etc etc.

So you were talking about the right wing media's caricature of the left. Got it.

I wonder where they are getting these fully automatic and illegal weapons from?

I cannot find them at the local gun stores.

Belt-fed frolics!

Now you really need a crack (or meth) team to crack that bank because, like a bride, you need someone to carry that train!

😉😉

Is that a light I see?
Coming down the track.
at me.

I know, it's so disappointing. I wanted, you know. a belt fed Browning that I could mount on the roof and access thru the sunroof for crowd control and mall parking lot clearance when I needed a space to slip the car in, but there you are, not available anywhere without going to a great deal of trouble.

I think that a.30 would be sufficient for this job.

No kidding. And Glock switches just don't seem to get the respect a Browning does.

But 0.50 is so effective!

But really what I'd like is one of these to go shopping in. Family friendly, you can fit ALL the shopping in and as for riots and demonstrators, you just accelerate. Almost as good as a wood-chipper, and you could always mount the Browning up top.

With plenty of room inside for more guns and more ammo. This would take "riding around with semi automatic weapons, automatic weapons..." to a whole new level.

I get it, but Brownings gotta eat. Thirtys are cheaper to feed, long-term. And I think I'd prefer a gun slit in the front of the tiny treaded terror. Just sayin'.

Bought a .300 Weatherby Magnum after work. This'll be fun . . . .

I'd prefer a M113A3. Faster and roomier.

There is that, but imagine that cute little Spartan painted pink with Hello Kitty decals - and they have rubber tracks so you can drive the on the road. Just right to head down to the mall in and load up the back with the shopping

I'm comfortable either walking or riding around with my concealed carry semi-automatic .45 caliber pistol. I'm not sure what too comfortable is. I also would be comfortable owing and possessing a fully automatic weapon. I'm not sure what a convergent switch is so I have no idea whether that would make me comfortable or not.

Pink huh?

It seems that a two tracked vehicle shed will be in order. *nods*
