One thing I noticed in the little bit of the debate I caught: Donald Trump couldn’t look Vice President Harris in the eye. He looked cowed and beaten and ashamed every time the camera was on him.

Kamala overpowered DonOld right from the power-move opening handshake where SHE invaded his space and grabbed his tiny feeble hand. (I hope she had hand sanitizer on the podium.)



Kamala Harris was under DonOld’s thin orange skin from the start, and she was in control. (She forced DonOld into telling sooooo many lies, and even got him to spend an inordinate amount of time talking about imaginary people eating imaginary dogs. (David Muir did fact check DonOld on the dog eating lie, and they fact checked DonOld a few other times on his lies.)



I would say, the moderators for ABC News (or whoever was controlling muting the mics and when they would allow responses) were endlessly accommodating to DonOld when he wanted to follow up on some issue, but the ONE time Kamala tried to follow up on an important issue, the moderators shut her down.

Fuck ABC News for that ^. (Even the fact that DonOld consistently went on unhinged rants during his extra extended speaking opportunities doesn’t excuse ABC News for disrespecting Vice President Harris like that.)



Overall, Kamala messaged far better than President Biden currently could have done, and she led DonOlld around on a leash in a way President Biden never could have done.



I also felt Kamala’s closing statement was one of the best I’ve ever witnessed / heard: I felt her words.



Kamala even dictated the tenor of DonOld’s closing statement, which consisted of an angry, unhinged canned campaign rant: Kamala walked that old orange hound on a leash right to the end.

trump is like the 'special dip' brought to the family table at celebrations, made by some antique rellie and the one a considerable bunch coo over but rarely eat... it gets left out in an over-warm kitchen for the duration, then refrigerated and brought out again at the next 'do' where most manage to avoid it, then it's frozen and brought out YET AGAIN, defrosted and oozing... those too scared to offend the rellie or who have an impossible liking for it consume a little, then wonder why they spend the rest of the holidays on the toilet, puking into bowls or even hospitalised with food poisoning
