A tribute to tbe Adams Family and Lerch's harpsichord.
I think this song is sooo fucking cool, I hope you listen and you like.
the greatest christmas record ever - sleigh bells on every track, i believe!sleigh bells --- in one of the greatest love songs ever "God Only Knows"
I liked this a lot more than I expected. Off topic, but my crush on Conan shows no signs of ever going awayDay 14: A song that uses an unconventional instrument
A hot little bit of sweaty Southern gothic. Delta Rae uses both a heavy chain as well as sticks on a metal garbage can as the primary instrument, along with other percussive touches. There are a couple of different videos for this, including the official one, which adds the audio from four members of the Historically Black fraternity Phi Beta Sigma's stepping team. It is worth watching. But I like this live version for its rawness as well as Conan's reaction.
"Bottom of the River," Delta Rae
Mandolin and pan flute?! Hell yeahDay 14: A song that uses an unconventional instrument
Hi everyone! With summer about, I've been neglecting this thread, (and PM's, and Shenanigans...) sorry about that!
Summers in Sweden are short, sweet, and wonderful. They're constantly shifting between sun and rain, between sweltering heat and freezing cold, between fire and ice. Have to catch the rays while they're out and about.
On that note; here's some Italian mandolin- and pan flute metal for all you wonderful litsters!
Rhapsody - Danza di Fuoco e Giaccho (A dance of fire and ice)
