Day 1: A song that once you hear it, it will be stuck in your head all day

I won't tell you that I love you
Kiss or hug you
'Cause I'm bluffing with my muffin

That last phrase has been taking up mental real estate for 16 years. Not a complaint, just a statement of fact.

Lady Gaga - Poker Face

Jive Talkin' -BeeGees
I Just Can't Get Enough - Depeche Mode

I just can't get enough, I've already listened thrice.
WALLA WALLA BING BANG

The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)
"Wellerman" - Nathan Evans
So, apparently I need to start a "jaunty little tunes for dancing in the kitchen" playlist.

I'm on it!

Day 2: A song that was a gateway to a lot of the music you currently enjoy
it's past midnight, okay!

Some of you might have picked up on this by now; I like a lot of different genres. Anything goes. There are diamonds in every type of music. Most of it, the punk, the metal, the rock n' roll comes from dad and I can't remember a particular song that brought into the genre. I just went with whatever he played for me.

But a genre that I've discovered on my own, rather recently, is Vaporwave. It's supposed to be the neon and pastel of the '80s distilled into music. It's the soundtrack of driving down the high-way next to the beach in your pink cabriolet, wind in your hair and friends in the back seat.

It's what I listen to when working out, it makes me happy and gets the endorphins running 🥰

Saffari - Body Talk

Day 1: A song that once you hear it, it will be stuck in your head all day

Stays stuck in my head all day -- but in the best way possible!

She had rings on her fingers and bells on her shoes
And I knew, without askin', she was into the blues
She wore scarlet begonias tucked into her curls
I knew right away she was not like other girls, other girls
