Well, this is an interesting challenge.
Young love? Innocent romance? Something more pregnant with lust and desire?
I’m going to go with something that speaks to those a little older, more experienced and perhaps wiser (maybe?) in this game of life.
And it’s one my favourites from The Boss.

So... the scene... fingers reach as the music starts, slowly closing as the melodica rises.... then boom! Oddly, another Swedish artist was playing on my iTunes as i thought of the scene, then i heard the into to this in my head and just wanted this song.

Today (monday), is Indigenous Peoples’ Day. I’d love for us to share and appreciate some indigenous artists!
I know not everyone, including myself, has that music in their wheelhouse already. You can either do some digging, or just go with any artist from your country!

I read this article about a song passed down over generations of enslaved people, the meaning lost, but later found and determined to be a funeral song from Sierra Leon. So, while Mali might not be an indiginous First Nations people/language to the US, they, and many west Africans, were brought here against their will, their language & customs were all they had.

Prince Tui Teka was born on March 8, 1937 in Ruatahuna, New Zealand. He was an actor, known for Boy (2010), Nate and Hayes (1983) and What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? (1999). He died on January 23, 1985 in Northland, New Zealand
