There's a TV show over here called Only Connect which is all about getting connections, and it has a grid round. Puzz grid is based on that idea and NYT stole it about 10 years later!

There's a TV show over here called Only Connect which is all about getting connections, and it has a grid round. Puzz grid is based on that idea and NYT stole it about 10 years later!

do you remember when you could play along to Only Connect walls online? that was the same as it asked you for the connection. The walls might still be online. the NYT ones have some very dodgy "connections"

I saw it on a YouTube when @orangecurious told me about it. My mind went blank.

I'm sure they had the ones from the show on the BBC website, but a bit of hunting hasn't found them, so reckon they've got rid of them
