I just went through the beginning of my first thread looking for this, a shot Husband took of an unusual snowscape in ATL that I called nature framed.

In March, I came across a plant in bloom by the creek, and tried to duplicate what I remembered of the pose. But this time, I was without photographic assistance, on my own, five years older, and a good bit heavier. Thrilled that I managed the balancing act.

For Thighday, I give you the 2019 version of “nature framed.”

The original photo is awesome, and the new one has the pose almost perfect. You still have it Mara, the sex appeal is still there

Mara's Birthday - and Picture Day 5

Happy Birthday Mara! Wishing you all the best on this special day.

I looked through all my pictures for the one that would represent your birthday the best. This picture is from my "Southern Collection", a house in rural Alabama. I was driving by and stopped to take a picture. The sweetest old lady came out of her house, leaning on her cane, her wispy white hair gently blowing in the breeze, the wrinkles on her weathered face reflecting the weathering of her house. She offered me a cold glass of sweet tea and we sat on her porch, her telling me stories of her life on the farm and I listening to every word. It was an absolutely enjoyable couple of hours.

So the point of this last picture - it doesn't matter how the outside looks. Like the outside of that house, you have to look to the inside, the heart and the soul of a person, to see the real beauty.
