Always always always love your body. Don't wait for someone to give you permission or do it for you. It's the only one you have and it's a goddamn miracle. Curvesday!!​

Curvesday is going to come with some writing this week because I have some thoughts!

Last week my personal Tumblr got nuked. Something that will probably seem quite silly and inconsequential to most people (I get it!) but that Tumblr held a lot of memories and writing that meant a lot to me and it so it feels like a big loss. This year has been like that. Luckily, I can make another Tumblr and try to rebuild what I had a bit. I bring this up because so much of what inspires Curvesday is found there and I’m often disheartened by what is available as far as curvy/thicc/fat (pick your adjective) erotica.

Everyone is totally free to like what they like but what I like is women with real bodies - thighs, tummy, ass, tits and arms - just being sexy like any other woman. So often, when you search for those keywords, you find one of two things - Thin women with an ass (sorry, that’s not what we’re looking for here) or a really unhealthy, depressing fetish involving feederism. Normally, I don’t kink shame but I will happily shame that one. I understand some bodies are a fetish for people and it is what it is but I started Curvesday to celebrate, validate and represent people (not just women) who break conventional beauty stereotypes and are just as sexy as any straight size person and those who prefer that body type.

All that to say - bear with me as I teach an algorithm about Curvesday

I’ve been thinking about my thighs a lot lately. They hold a weird significance in how I think about my body. They are thick and supple and have a few dimples. I hate my thighs when I’m squeezing into jeans or scrub pants but when I’m naked or just sitting in panties in my big chair reading a book…. I love my thighs. They are so soft and my skin there is so pale. I love the way fingers look when they grab my thighs and the imprinted valleys they carve. I love how warm my thighs are. When my hands get cold, my thighs are the perfect place to warm them up. I love the feel of lips kissing up my thigh, a face resting on them, rough hands pulling them apart, and the motion of them when they wrap around someone else. So while they aren't picture perfect, they are pretty perfect to me. 🩷

Curvy is the only term that seems to not have a negative interpretation.
