• What do you wish the readers would get from your poems?
• What do you yourself wish to get from your poem?

My first reaction was:
Who cares and
Who cares?

But I figured I would give it a go.


Readers? What readers?
I hope they get whatever they were looking for, or are pleasantly surprised. I actually write for myself but it is cool when I get a reader response. My goal is different for different poems. Sometimes I write with increased sensitivity to special circumstances (being a child with autism) or to share a common experience to which some would relate (i.e. mammograms)

Me? I simply enjoy writing and it is good brain exercise, especially the editing. I also like surprising myself with what comes out.
