Not sure how dems square this peg. They tried to drag him to the finish line, even though we could all see his decline. They gaslight the American people that he was fine…till they put him on in Prime Time. Now it’s waaay too late in the game. Just saw a piece on the TeeVee that is turning the guns on the Obama machine. Basically saying the people that orchestrated Pres Obama’s rise are out of touch with the American People now and those old playbooks don’t work now.

Nobody needs to square any peg. Biden made a choice and the party followed his lead. Politics is not a single decision or moment....people make choices based on poltiical capital.

All that needs to be done is for internal alliances to make their moves and the party to balance out.

First off, President Biden is not in serious decline- especially compared to “the home run hitter” that Kamala destroyed in her debate.

There was no “gaslighting”, as President Biden had accomplished incredible things legislatively, and was reported by both side of the aisle to be competent in private negotiation on policy (Kevin McCarthy lost his speakership because President Biden out negotiated him.) And Foreign leaders said he was a competent partner in major negotiations involving challenging geopolitical matters as well.



Yes, he was older, and he was exhausted (which made his stutter worse) from his dual presidential and campaign schedules at times ( President Biden was actually doing the job of President, unlike DonOld.), but at no time did he EVER say anything close to the unhinged, racist, misogynistic, fascistic shit that DonOld did.

The gaslighting is coming from the right - and it stinks.

The double standard is / was farcical.

As for blaming the Dali Bama (peace be upon his holy name), it wasn’t Republicans blaming him today. Every clip I saw was democrat talking heads. I’ll find you some clips…
