That was not Deadpool. It was Baraka from Mortal Kombat.
Regarding the Deadpool movie, it has to be rated R and be true to the character. Fourth wall breaking, violence, jokes, all of it.

Which is why I scratch my head on why Marvel wants to do the DP movie.
Don't get me wrong Deadpool is a great funny character but he's not really strong enough to carry a movie on his own as the protagonist he's more the badass comic relief. Granted I haven't seen anything he's been in since Hulk v. Wolverine in which he was hillarious.

The problem is I haven't read anything he's been in since his first appearance in X-force back in the 90s. Sooooo unless they've developed the character a whole lot more in those five graphic novels I just can't see why Marvel believes he can support a movie on his own.
