Blake of course saw Euterpe glance down to where he'd placed her hand, and he naturally wondered if she'd allow it, even before he saw the smirk come to that beautiful face of hers. He couldn't stop the full-bellied laugh that her joke pulled from him, but he was able to keep himself standing upright as they walked, rather than doubling over with laughter.
"A smart wager to be sure..." Blake started, bowing his head, lifting his free right hand, and tipping his imaginary hat to her in the process. "...but I'm sure you know that the preferred style of sword changes with time and location, and thus won't look down on me for embracing the sword of my time.
A bit of a flush came to Blake's face when he heard the words unparalleled skills come out of Euterpe's mouth, but he couldn't resist the chuckle all the same. "From satisfactory to unparalleled after just one day and one time you say? If I keep up this exponential rate of improvement, I'll be a sex god in no time!" As he finished talking, he gave her hip the gentlest of bumps with his own before continuing to walk in a straight line with her towards the restaurant.
