It is. That is what I strive for while drawing. It must produce that reaction in me, while I'm drawing...that, and more. The process takes so long sometimes. In some cases, it's hard to finish because I get over....over (what?)....overwhelmed, perhaps, is a safe description? lol (Okay, maybe I shouldn't have used the phrasing "it's hard to finish...")

Yes, the drawings do take a long time to do and if the artist needs to “take a break” then so be it! It is hard, hard work! It gets harder the longer the artist works at it. And it gets longer the harder it gets….strange

Yes, the drawings do take a long time to do and if the artist needs to “take a break” then so be it! It is hard, hard work! It gets harder the longer the artist works at it.

It could take only the application of a few straight and curved lines, or just the right shading in just the right spot. Then, yet another break ensues.
