Accent Fetishes

I hadn't realised; I'll do better quality assurance in future! May actually update that if I listen back and it's truly hideous 😅

And Glasgow originally, then Edinburgh, then London (via overseas) and back to Glasgow, hence it's a bit lighter. For better or worse.. :) How about your good self, having just listened to your own (delightful and better produced) voice note?

I sent this to someone the other day. It's pretty accurate but I just pray the fuck I don't sound so much like this!

I've lived in the USA for 25 years and still get favourable comments on my accent which is slightly scrubbed Yorkshire. I have to be a bit careful, though, because as the frustration level rises accent slips into dialect, and no-one understands a word I am saying!

Of English accents my least favourite is 'Estuarine English' that sort of weird half-Cockney racket that has become common in the SE. Of US accents it is a toss-up between Boston and the harsher manifestations of the Wisconsin accent, but I like the Minnesota accent - Ja, you betcha!

Try being from Kansas. When I walk into a bar, the women run out.....

When I go to Dixie, I can smooth it out, and actually be a charmer. The first Litster I ever dated was from NYC. I met her, and wasnt sure she was an American.

I had a friend like that - some people would get annoyed as they thought he was making fun of them 😅 Hopefully your don't face the same

Yorkshire is such a fucking comforting accent. Sexy I dunno .. but that voice could talk me to sleep x

I don’t really have a specific accent fetish. Just love voices an accent is a lovely addition to hearing someone’s passion

I spoke to a nice guy in Indiana last night so I'm working my way round the US. Clockwise or anti-clockwise ? And where next? x

I’m from California, my first love came from the mid-west and my first sexual experience was with an Australian. I’ve had a thing for accents my whole life practically.

Ya'll don't leave Georgia out, now. The state, not the country. We are about as Southern as it gets here. Although, some around here are a bit too country sounding, even for me!
Our women are the best - but they know that the proper spelling is y'all ;)

Squirming like fuck, I think I'll be greedy and kep him to myself for now 😈 Sorry guys 😝

Nice to see the Aussies get an honourable mention. I think we sound horrible, but some overseas people seem to like it, or at least have some perverse attraction to it, a bit like watching a train wreck lol.

Almost any accent that doesn't sound Australian is a winner for me ;)
