Adding a Chyoo FAQ

Unless I've managed to accidentally miss it, I've noticied something which should be included on the reading a thread section. The three options found at the bottom of any thread only work if you are a registered member of Chyoo.

Suggestions for additions to the FAQ:

- Removing a link or thread, how to request a moderator to do it.

- How does the story approval process work, e.g. I satarted my story X days ago, why hasn't it been approved yet?

- Should stories be some minimum % complete before being approved?

- Are stories required to have erotic content, and is it okay if the erotic content doesn't show up until 5 or 6 threads deep?

- When will there be a new version and what features will it have? (What's up with chyoo3 and where can we suggest new features?)

Yeah, and how do you rate threads that aren't hot or sexy, but greatly advance the plot and possibilities?

My biggest problem is that there's a story I've been contributing to, Absolute Power...

hang on, let me include a link or two to it.

...so anyway, there's this story I've been working on and I have some great ways to continue the story, INCLUDING a few endings I have worked out. Trouble is, it's been MONTHS and none of my threads have been approved (or rejected).

- Is there any way to report this or request a third party review it? Not an FAQ, but truly annoying when it comes up.

Also (less common situation), is there any way to transfer ownership of a story? I haven't contributed so some of my stories for a while, so I'm considering asking if anyone else wants to take them over.

The only way this works currently is that one of the moderators looks the story over and then assigns a new editor, based on desire to edit.

If you want to edit a story, just ask. Do you want Absolute Power? Or I can make someone else eidtor, like myself.

If you want to put your stories up for adoption, post them in the Adopt-A-Story program thread.

Whoops, I had the same question, and I guess this would have been the correct place to put it. Sorry about that!

Feedback on threads.

Well, I'm the proud owner of Absolute Power, for anyone who doesn't already know it. Thanks, Torg.

Another question. Is there any way to read comments writers, editors, and readers make about threads? The only method I'm aware of is to choose Add A New Thread and look in the bottom-left corner.

Should we add a page to the Chyoo FAQ titled "Current problems and solutions"? How about also adding an "updated date" just after the story title?

Has the activity on Chyoo declined since the problems? I've barely had any threads added to my stories recently.
