I totally agree with MJL second person is the worst! The only time I have ever written anything in the second person is when describing a real fantasy to my Dom.

First person is best when the writer is retelling the true story of something that happened to them. Otherwise I would rather have third person.

I have seen instances where second person, as a device, was used well and worked. It was never for an entire story, book or whatever. I can't remember which one it was, but Danielle Kitten has a story here, very well done, that used second person for a few paragraphs. The switch in POV took me by surprise, but I fell into her devilish trap and was caught. Some other readers took her to task for it.

Oneguy, I'm glad you're getting something out of this thread as well. What would you think if the Dom used her skills to seduce a female sub? Or even if the female sub was the Dom's primary focus, but there were males helping/acting as alpha subs? Does the gender of the sub affect your enjoyment at all?

A good seduction story turns me on even if it is a female that is being seduced. Often times I can picture myself in the female's position or sharing the same emotion's as the female. Also, even though I am not dominate, the image of a female sub being dominated by a female is very very thrilling for me. I love to know that she is excited and aroused at being dominated and helpless. I don't think it would be exciting for me if it was a male doing the domination.

You hit on one of my top fantasies. I love the idea of being a sub along with a female sub. However, I imagine the female sub being dominated and helping to dominate me.
