I'm in the same boat with Perse - definitely "alfa Dom tom"! He bows to NO ONE! And is extremely jealous of any time I spend doing anything that doesn't involve him directly.

And some people say a sub can't have more than one "Dom"!

Well now, in some ways that just is not true.

All (almost) joking aside there's something special connecting cat behaviour and D/s I think. Looking at my pet tonight, so docile and content in my presence, but I know that he has to be watched for at any moment he can reveal his sharp teeth and try to sink them into some part of my body.

Tamed cat=sub/switch?
Wild cat=Dom/me?

My cat is Angel, and is aptly named. She's a lazy, affectionate, cheerful, cozy gray tabby of a sub cat. Definitely a sub though. We're good company for each other.

I can just envision it....

Sounds to me like Chele and I have male cats who are Dom/switches, lol.

My guy is a switch, I think. When he's in the submissive role, he's very cuddly and prefers to sleep close to me at night. He follows me around the house and sleeps near wherever I am. He playfully tries to engage me in a game sometimes, but it is my decision when and how to play with him.

But when he is dominant, he demands his meals promptly whenever he requests them, allows me only so much contact before pushing my hand away or biting me, he doesn't allow me to play with other parnters (my boyfriend has teeth marks on his back that aren't mine...or any other woman's for that matter ), prefers that I sleep when he is tired and I am awake when he is awake.

It's the best of both worlds, and why I could never be a top.
