Anywhoo, I can't even begin to express my deepest and heartiest congrats to you both on such a wonderful announcement! We search for love all our lives, and some do not find it, but the people that don't give up, in this case Angelique and Xander, get what they have been dreaming of for ages and ages. And it warms my heart when someone I admire like Angelique finds true happiness. I know I am not quite as elequent as Lasher or some of the other guru types (lol), but from one friend to another, my best wishes to you for a wonderful life together. (sniff)

You have one day away from the Board and they make the annoucment, I have got to stop leaving this place for small amount's of time.

I am just so glad I knew about this earlier. I received an Email from Xander while I was gone that he had some Fantastic news, then he was the first person I spoke to when I finally received my computer back, I can't even begin to tell you how excited he was when he told me the great news. I also got all teary eyed, but I was so excited also. I speak to both these wonderful people, and I can tell you all that Xander would be classed as my best friend. I have been talking with Angelique for only a short time but in that time she and I have become very close. I get to hear just how happy these two make each other (Angelique during the day, Xander at night) and I can say that they are both definantly in love and they are perfect for each other.

As you both know I am just so happy for you, Good Luck and best wishes for all the many years that I know you will be together. Always stay as happy as you both are now.

Lasher is in charge of organizing the Lit members to attend the event, and hell, since he's so damn good, we're gonna make him in charge of the webcam, as well.

Earthgoddess, you're in charge of the food and cakes, correct?

Wizard, I'm gonna have you make a really cool sign for us to display in our front lawn, so we can piss off the neighbors by illuminating it all night long.

Jade will honor us with the beauty of her voice...of course, I'll need some input from you on songs, darlin'.

Siren, you get to help choose the musical selections since you're so awesome at remembering tunes and the musicians who sang them.

LL, your job in all of this is to continuously hand me kleenex...but no loofah's, ok? LOL

Rosebud, I'm leaving you in charge of the champagne selection...and no, you may not hand everyone a sticker with a bottle of champagne on it. *grin*

Dixon and Endlessly will marry us, with each of them alternating in reciting the words, and immediately following Dixon will indulge us all in one of his hysterical comedy routines.

Whisper is in charge of handling the invitations and must promise to seal each and every one of them with a kiss.

Roger and company, if you would, please put together a few ideas for the wording of vows. *smiles*

Laurel and Manu...your presence would be enough to top off the entire event. You both work so hard on this wonderful site, all you two have to do is relax and enjoy.

StarryEyz, we'll borrow your residence for the honeymoon...however, I doubt seriously that we'll need anything more than a comfy bed. *grin*

Now, all we need are volunteers for flower arranging, a photographer, a DJ, a place for this shindig to go down at, and what the heck else am I forgetting?

Oh yes...the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Lasher, if you promise to bring Xander back in one, recognizable piece, I'll allow you the honors. Skitten and Rosebud, you volunteered first to get together the bachelorette party...I'm sure Siren, Sierra and Kat will offer their assistence there.

So, have I covered all the bases?

Xander honey...look what you've done...you started this incredibly touching thread, and already, less than 24 hours later, we're planning a major party here! Now how about dancing for me darlin'?

Xander I know it's a big step for you to move to the states, but trust me I would do the same if I was in your situation. We haven't talked much at all, but still you seem like a great guy to me!

Angelique, I haven't interacted a lot with you at all, but I still wish you the best, and I just hope you'll be able to cope with some of the strange viewpoints us Danes have on life! lol.

Angelique and Xander, I wish you all the best. As we all know, the road we travel during the course of marriage can sometimes get bumpy. The three most important words you can ever say to each other aside from "I love you", are "I am sorry." Practice them and all should be well. I too met a lady on this board and was developing very strong feelings for her although we had never met. One day she just disappeared and I haven't heard from her since. I hope she is well, and if she reads this, I want her to know that I miss her.

Obviously, yesterday was a VERY blonde day for me. I clearly remember responding to this thread with a long winded congratulations/what love is all about speech, but now I can't seem to find it.

At any rate...congratulations are certainly in order. The two of you are wonderful people and it makes me more than a little misty eyed (quit hogging the Kleenex LL) to see that true love can be found anywhere in the world...even on opposite continents.

I would love to offer my services for the wedding, but, well....unless someone gets put in jail at the bachelor/bachelorette party, I'm not sure I have anything of value to offer. Seeing that Lasher is in charge of the bachelor party....I'll be on standby just in case.

This is important...

Make sure the bachelor party is the weekend before the wedding, so that everyone involved has enough time to recover. Trust me, there is not a more miserable feeling in the world than standing in front of several hundred people in Tux and doing your best not to puke during the vows. I've been there, and it was probably the most agonizing 40 minutes of my life.

I would not trust Lasher with Xander for one minute. Tie the dude up and don't let him out of your sight for the entire week before the wedding.
