Oh yes... I always use a good Anti Virus before connecting to an open port. Otherwise you risk terminal packet collisions which not only degrade performance but can lock up your whole system!.

Ohhhhhhh... Core dumps can really hurt if their big, but the worst is when your hard drive starts to seek recklessly and discovers nothing but bad sectors.
That can lead to some real expensive recovery treatments let me tell you!
