Annie's Room

I just got back from shopping at a local sensuality shop wearing a black long-sleeve fleece jacket, a blue calico miniskirt over black leggings and a blue matching crocheted hat and my COVID mask. Two somewhat goth girls were working at the store and were very friendly. It would be a fair guess that by their style they were lesbians, of course you never know...

They both double took on me and smiled when I walked in.

“Hi, how are you? Are you looking for anything special? I love your... is that a skirt or a dress? I can’t tell with your coat.”

“Thanks, it’s just a skirt...” I lift my fleece so they can see my skirt better.

“Well, it’s really cute! I wish more guys would wear pretty stuff. It looks great.”

They were helpful and gave me an unsolicited discount for the lace bodysuit I found. :)

Very wonderful. I have had similar experiences. When the sales girls know you are buying for yourself they are largely very helpful.

Very nice, very sexy and very lucky... never dared to try such a thing, makeup and wig not needed with hat and mask I guess?? Might just try that one day :)

When I bought my blue calico miniskirt at a store in the mall the friendly college age clerk gave me a funny little smirk. I was in full guy-mode, but she gave me a cheeky grin and said, "nice choice. It really matches your shirt."

I laughed and said, "Your fly is down."

She didn't believe me at first and gave me a 'yeah right' look, but she turned and checked and turned beet red when she saw it was. :D

This is a delightful place you have created, Annie. I quite enjoyed you and Lucy's story. Unlike Alex I have, alas, never been suited for miniskirts and prefer a sporty tomboy look. A lesbian friend once told me that if I was a "real" woman she would date me, which I took as a compliment.

It's the one upside to covid. ;)

I don't pass when I show my face, but I have long curly hair. Unfortunately it's not in very good shape because I usually wear it in a ponytail, but it looks nice with a single or double French braids.

I'm both masculine and feminine, so small clues like braids can easily sway expectations.

I was working for an older lesbian couple last week and they complimented my briads. I told them about how it sometimes gets me misgendered. They both laughed and told me stories of it happening to them. Both of them are sturdy and fairly butch. One said how she was going into a Costco bathroom when an employee tried repeatedly to stop her.

"Sir. Excuse me, sir!"

She kept walking.

"Sir, you can't go in there!"

She turned and gave the guy a look that said 'really?'

"That's the woman's restroom."

She lifted up her shirt and showed the guy her seventy year-old tits. The guy blanched and walked away.
:D

Gem Sissy shared this with me elsewhere and I wanted to share it to my close friends here on my thread.

"It is a graphic novel, a collection of vignettes, called "Fragments of Femininity". They are each so beautiful and poignant about experiences women have had or can relate with. It sang to my sissy, my feminist, and woman-ally soul. It is only 117 pages and I read it for free as a digital borrow from my local library using the Hoopla app. The illustrations are explicit but never in poor taste and it isn't erotica or pornography. It is soul-feeding."

I looked into it and it really was a beautiful graphic novel. I'd recommend it for other women and anyone who wants to understand our experiences. If you read it, let us know what you thought.

Thanks for the shout out, Annie. :) I have another recommendation on my thread that is more erotic...
