ANONYMOUS FEEDBACKers ARE CRUEL!!!

Well, the one I had rejected I tried to make it clear that they were two adults and one of them wished to be treated as a much younger person and the other was a bit uncomfortable with the idea but realized that as they were both adults engaging in private fantasy...Maybe it was the wording, maybe it's a recent thing they're looking closer at. In the rejection they sent there was a prohibition on role-playing such a thing.
No big deal... everything that I am working on now, I make sure that there is no question that the characters are at least 18.

That worries me because I like to write about role-playing and one of the best kinds is teacher/student. I hope the Girl Scout one gets through. I'm even thinking about a priest/altar boy story. Those would all be adults role-playing, of course.

Did you try submitting the story again woith a note in the comments field saying the characters were well over 18 and that one is just pretending to be a child? They should accept it on the second try.

Hi Leslie. I haven't posted a story yet but I for one have been blown away by some of the amazing writers on here. VERY, VERY good stories.

There are always going to be jerks on message boards. Don't let them get to ya.

As far as rejections for underage role playing goes, I found that mine got rejected when I mentioned the exact age, such as when I wrote, "innocent as a 12-year old boy" it got rejected. But when I changed it to, "with all the innocence of a boy" it got accepted. And not only Literotica, but even Yahoo (Ya-hoooo-oooooo! LOL!) is very strict about that sort of thing. In fact, Yahoo has gotten so now you cannot even TALK about INCEST anymore.

I wasn't "fishing" for comments but they are nice to receive... even the bad ones. lol To be quite honest, I don't give a flying fig what the average reader thinks about my story's structure, wording, grammar, tense, etc. Most readers couldn't care less about those things. They are more concerned with the entertainment value of a story. Isn't that why most people read these stories? I asked BlackShanglan to critique my story and he did. He literally tore my story apart and critiqued each and every paragraph (which was way more than I ever expected him to do) and he told me the "good" and the "bad" about my writing for which I was very grateful. BlackShanglan is an extremely gifted writer so I highly respected his opinion and, in my opinion, his criticism will definitely help me become a much better writer. On the other hand, I don't give a rat's ass what the average reader thinks about my writing style. I just want to know if they enjoyed reading the story. After all, isn't that the whole point to writing our stories? To entertain? ;)

P.S. How the heck do you include your story in these posts? I'm so computer illiterate it's not funny.

INCLUDING YOUR LINK TO YOUR STORY

Good morning, luvmehard! All you have to do to include your link in your post, is pull your story up in its window, as it appears on the Literotica website. Then highlight the URL address in your address bar window, open your edit menu and highlight copy. Then re-open the window where your posting is, and click PASTE from your edit menu. That should COPY and PASTE your story link right into your post! Understand? I know it is hard to try to explain something about your computer on here, but I did the best I could for you. Hope it helps! Cuz I would love to read some of your stories.

Also, to you readers who can help luvmehard out a bit, if she is having trouble getting her link in here, is just take a coupla extra minutes and click on her profile, and look up her stories that way. In fact, that is what I am gonna do right now! duh?!?!?!

Love and kisses,
Leslie

LuvMeHardTonite's Stories. Just thought I'd 'lend a hand' - OMG, you're so -ish, Captain! :)

Ah, but yes, onto a serious matter now... LeslieBlue's instructions are the best way to go. I was also unaware of how to do much of anything for the first few days or so, but I PM'd BlackSnake and he was able to reply with some instructions that I UNDERSTOOD, not like the 'help' Literotica provided in the CONTROL PANEL.

I'm 'semi'-literate when it comes to computers, but a total novice when it comes to forums and all this! Learning as I go, too, but then, hey... that's life for ya! :p

I am writing an incest story where a stepfather compels his stepdaughter to have sex with him. I make some references about her previous experiences. I hope I can get bgy with them. If it gets rejected, I may be more vague about them but I would hate to omit them altogether because the story is based on her having some exerience before she turns 18..

THIS THREAD IS ABOUT ANONYMOUS FEEDBACKERs

Don't wanna be a stickler about it, but this thread is about ANONYMOUS FEEDBACKERs, so if you wanna talk about Literotica Rules and Regs, you gotta start a new thread OK? Thanks, baby!

My second story was just published today on Literotica.com, and someone sent me the following ANONYMOUS feedback:

It's the same story, only a new chapter,. so use the same fucking title and add the chapter number, asshole. Rating of one for being a moron.

So I just went to my Main Options and shut off the ability to accept any more Anonymous Feedback. Cuz this kinda comment is cruel and rude and totally uncalled for, in a group of so-called MATURE adults who are supposed to be supporting each other. And I don't mind telling this MORON myself that YOU, my Anonymous Friend, are the real and only ASSHOLE around here, cuz you don't even have the fuckin nerve to tell me who you are, so I can explain myself to you. And so from now on, you freakin' ignorant idiot, you will NOT be able to hurt me anymore with your inane, nasty, crass, and unnecessary remarks! Thanks a lot, dickhead!!!!!

I am SO sorry you had to read such things. THAT is definitely not constructive criticism nor something you should have to put up with. May you continue writing stories as you do!:rose:

I totally agree: some people just hate your style because they see something in you (the author) that they don't possess... talent to write!

The one's that just rip into you murderously without providing supportive yet honest feedback are the ones that deserve our pity more than our rage, though. They are the sad recesses of society who feel it necessary to vent out their own impotent rage on others... has anyone heard of the 'tall poppy' syndrome? :D

But I also think the best feedback is, at times, unsparingly honest. It just allows you to get the insight, as an author, into what your readers do and do not enjoy about your work. It helps me... sometimes it hurts, yes, but after time I've come to realize that a few of the people who've sent me pretty brutal, dissecting emails about my work have made good points, and have really only ever had the best of intentions with what they've written.

But then there are the assholes and the jerks out there who just HAVE to add their two-cent’s worth. They make the decent people (which is most everyone who visits this site, thank the gods!) look even better, and just serve to belittle themselves with their playground-thug tactics. Keep your chin up, LeslieBlue and fellow Lit authors, and stay true to yourselves. :p

Don't worry, Captain, my chin is up and my nipples are hard! And I have learned how to take the assholes with a grain of salt, and not let them bother me at all anymore. In fact, once in a while, they even give me a good LAUGH! LOL!

Now, if I could just get past this fuckin WRITER'S BLOCK I am going thru, I would have it made!!! hehehe

Love and kisses,

Slightly off-topic...

BTW if LeslieBlue or anyone else out there wants, I can help clear writer's block; I can just throw random ideas that pop into my head in your general direction! I've got a bit of a problem where I come up with TOO MANY ideas... it's really just a matter of searching through the news and a bit of the web to get inspiration for stories, of a wide and wondrous variety too.

There are alot of diamonds in the rough out there, just waiting to be found by those willing to dig around bit, and go that extra yard for that one perfect little spark of inspiration. :)

Just PM me and I'll get back ASAP! :)D hehe that sorta rhymes :p)

Leslie for every negative feedback I get I usually get one that likes it. For every one feedback I get that likes it I usually get two that try and help me improve.
Don't turn off the feed back option you could miss out on great advice from serious writers who can help you.

Opinions & assholes

Hey Leslie,
We're putting ourselves 'out there' w/ our stories.
Unfortunately, opinions & assholes seem to work together,
everybody's got one, and some of them stink.
And remember, those who can't do, critique.
Most of the harshest 'critics' I meet are what I call fringe players.
They talk about all the wondeful, creative talent they have & the great projects they're going to do someday. And somehow never get around to actually creating something (anything) of their own. To me, it's a case of 'put up or shut up'. Let them hide behind the safety of anonymity, ripping on genuinely creative people's work is prob'ly the most actual writing they'll ever do.
KEEP WRITING!
have a good one, the Extreme B.
