Any Ladies Have A Nerd Fetish?

What about dorks? We need love too! Seriously, a woman that's into comics, sci-fi, manga...anything beyond soap operas, reality tv, or Nascar...is a HUGE turn on. So feel free to pm for an intellectual discussion....:)

Absolutely a nerd lover!
My husband and I had seperated a couple of years ago, (long story). I started having a fling with my nerdy college co-worker who was 10 years younger and a college student, who was still a virgin.
We still meet for lunch occaisionally, and I can't help but wonder if he still thinks about our little sexcapade.

I LOVE NERDY MEN!! So much so that I'm with one right now :D Science, history, Sci-fi, music and all that jazz, most of which we share in common. Intelligent men are sexy men and their passion for a certain subject is just as passionate as they would be and are for sexual fetishes. Turn that nerdiness from sci-fi to sex and just see what magic unfolds!

I was serious with a bio-chemist for a while... she was amazing... I've had relations with more than my fair share of teachers, librarians, and other "bookish" types, so I guess it would probably qualify as a fetish, even though I'm not a lady.
;)

Nerds are effing HOT! I love learning new things, hearing a guy speak knowledgeably or passionately about a given subject makes me wet. Just my 2c :)

God, this thread just got awesome for me...

Although I too am wondering where the hell all these cool nerd-lovin' women were during my youth (good god, I'm only 21!) I couldn't find a single damn person willing to discuss anime with me for the longest time... Eh, that's changed now, but I still find the nerdy girls super-attractive. Especially if they use the word "Evangelion" in conversation. I have a radar for that word, and when it goes off I'm going to be talking for a while :)

I was wondering if any of our lovely Ladies had a fetish for nerds? If so please tell us what sort (tech nerd, book nerd, etc.)

Me! Me! My current sweetie is computer nerd. At the last party we went to together, there was a computer hooked up to a projector. She sat on the couch with three other people for half an hour tying to get a Star Trek episode to play in ASCII. They got it to work, too. It looked like Jean Luc Picard meets The Matrix. Sexy!

I also tend to surround myself with gamers, and have the urge to instantly hug anyone who confesses a liking for Terry Pratchett.

Edit: Oh, and as for where I was in highschool? Playing the flute in band, a veritable cornucopia of nerds of all varieties. ;)

*squeals* Yes! Another Pratchett fan! They DO exist! Sorry, I've just never met another one...

Getting made fun of for being a nerd.

Yes, that's right; remind us all of THOSE memories... :(

This one time, at band camp...

Definitely.

I do. Intelligence really turns me on, and most nerds are generally pretty smart. Besides that, they generally are just waiting to explore their sexuality.

I love book nerds and artsy nerds.

:: pounce hug :: We're out there, keep looking! I'm sure you'll find others who secretly wish to live in Discworld. ;)

Hahaha! That came out while I was in highschool. I got so teased about that scene, that I have never been able to bring myself to see it.

I tend to go for nerdy/geeky guys. While I love the tech and the book nerd I can not resist the language nerd. The first guy I ever seriously crushed on in high school was in French class with me, taking Spanish, Latin and also trying Japanese on the side. We used to get detention together all the time. =) Later I dated a guy (an engineer!) for a long time that used to love his word of the day calendars. His enormous vocabulary and the way that he spoke was probably what hooked me. It is the intelligence and passion that I love!

Cue joke where "vocabulary" is a euphemism.

Although now that you mention it, I've got a bit of a word fetish myself. There's just nothing sexier to me than a girl who knows her way around a polysyllable. Bonus points if they can introduce me to new and interesting words.

Oh, the multi-lingual thing also works; my girlfriend speaks german, which I had always thought to be a fairly masculine language. Not when she's speaking it. ;)

Give me a nerd/geek over a jock any day.

Intelligence is sexy, and if a guy likes sci-fi, all the better. Coding? Fuck yeah.
So long as he has his emotions in check, I'm there. I've dated far too many nerd/geeks who acted more a girl than myself.
