This might seem weird to some people, but I get far more turned on from watching sex scenes in a movie than from watching porn. Even if there are no genitals or breasts shown at all. It just seems so much more sensual and emotional than anything you see in porn. The cinematography in movies just make them so much more effective for me. Another thing is the speed. A lot of modern porn is rubbish, with no real feeling between the people.
Despite the very basic filming techniques, the 70s and 89s produced better porn, the likes of Seka, Ginger Lynn, Peter North really inter-reacting with the other person.
A good film director, as with "The Girl With The Dragon tattoo" will make the sex scene have real feeling, as you say (I don't mean the rape scene which is and meant to be horrible).

There are still is some good porn about though, fortunately.

I completely agree. Someone in an earlier post made a good observation. Porn is usually for when you're already feeling randy, but doesn't really get you in the mood, where a good sex scene or build up to one will.

Watching this made me think of something that often comes to my mind. How do these actors do it? I mean, everything we ever read about performing in (non-porn) movie sex scenes talks about how unerotic it actually is with all the lights and cameras and crew and orders being barked and take after take, etc. However, if I were an actress having a good-looking guy play with my nips while his hand is down my pants, all while I am expected to act like I'm enjoying it...how could I not get turned on for real? in a movie, there is a plot and a story to hook you. so there is a reason for someone to be naked....a reason for the characters to have sex....

porn, its just boring after the first 20 seconds of the actors doing it
