Yes!! No idea what the law was, but sometimes passion is needed, for lawmakers to realize the impact something unjust could haveCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I believe one of the original purposes of this thread was to discuss things like politics, art, music, philosophy, things like that?
Consider this the intersection of all of the above. I could watch this all day long and never tire of it.
Good morning Your Highness!Hi Boat, Jack - or FeatherOilHangman and Guardsman!
Hope you’re both well, hope everyone is
The proposed law has something to do with redefining a treaty between the government and the Maori indigenous people of New Zealand. It seems not everyone's a fan.Yes!! No idea what the law was, but sometimes passion is needed, for lawmakers to realize the impact something unjust could have
Seriously speaking - how do you think it would go down if a Congressman or woman gave that kinda protest?
That’s so regressiveThe proposed law has something to do with redefining a treaty between the government and the Maori indigenous people of New Zealand. It seems not everyone's a fan.
Yes, I read the article on this in yesterday’s WaPo online and clicked the YouTube link to the video. What struck me first is how commanding her voice was, and how her vocal instrument was strong and projecting. Then I realized that she was in, speaking for her people in her voice and theirs. It was fucking inspirational.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe one of the original purposes of this thread was to discuss things like politics, art, music, philosophy, things like that?

Imagine if the United States had more provisions and inclusiveness for the indigenous peoples who’s land was taken by European invaders who then procured slaves as a bedrock of supremacy to build the world’s greatest democracy.Yes, I read the article on this in yesterday’s WaPo online and clicked the YouTube link to the video. Mr. Potato Head with the gavel with the eye roll? Bless his heart.
Absolutely. It’s lauded as some great accomplishment every time an indigenous person is elected to office, or people gain some minor concession, while in reality they’ve suffered centuries of injusticeImagine if the United States had more provisions and inclusiveness for the indigenous peoples who’s land was taken by European invaders who then procured slaves as a bedrock of supremacy to build the world’s greatest democracy.
Hi 6foot, welcomeI'd want more romantic sexual chat but chit chat and being silly is a lot of fun too if you click.
I just came on shift and have 18 hours of non work work to do....I'd want more romantic sexual chat but chit chat and being silly is a lot of fun too if you click.
Welcome, Experienced in Idaho,Started in 8 of 23 and ended the same month.
Hope all of going well.
We will see many reversal of policies. There’s little doubt of that. The brain drain will see the best and brightest leave government service with heads held high and pinched noses of the stench to come.Absolutely. Perhaps progress on climate change, and therefore nature and those who live closest to it might improve that, but now, with the incoming administration, that may all be reversed too…
That is way too much time to have not work work, I'm so sorry!I just came on shift and have 18 hours of non work work to do....
I didn't follow, either!Welcome, Experienced in Idaho,
I’m probably being slow, too tired, but I don’t understand you’re saying lol… ?
Yeah, same. And true And I don’t think it’s gonna be a brain drain as it was when he last took office, he’s just gonna remove anyone who’s not fanatical about his policies. And the environment can’t take four years of reversal…We will see many reversal of policies. There’s little doubt of that. I live here. It’s for real.
Oh I thought it was a good thing, as in a day of relaxation?!That is way too much time to have not work work, I'm so sorry!
Okay, wasn’t just me then lol!I didn't follow, either!
It's fine....That is way too much time to have not work work, I'm so sorry!
There’s little to stand between these eventual outcomes. It’s dark, but the American people spoke through their vote. The outcome is disheartening to me personally as a liberal Dem, bYeah, same. I think it’s feasible that there could be ways that disaster could be avertedThere’s little to stand between these eventual outcomes. It’s dark, but the American people spoke through their vote. The outcome is disheartening to me personally as a liberal Dem, b

The environment will lose “bigly”. Accords will be reversed and business friendly accommodations made to circumvent nature in favor of relics such as coal and fracking for natural gas.
It is going to be a challenging 4 years ahead of us.
