I'm sure it is, Brighton is between dover and folkestone isn't it and hastings I think Rye too.And neither of those is in Kent.

Brighton and Hastings are both Sussex. I don't think there is much between Folkestone and Dover at all...
however i am in gravesend. Kent. Which is a shit hole.

I really like Brighton, and the lanes. It's my local beach town, gay friendly too.

It's London on Sea... tends to be full of 'groovers' hanging out to be seen hanging out. Just can't get into the place really and it's usually more expensive than London.
Hastings is a proper seaside town, run down and shabby with no pretentions, but i really liked it.

Sounds a bit like the Yorkshire Coast. Lots of run down little towns full of their own type of charm
