I had a dating app experience yesterday.
So I'm sworn off finding a date. Forever*.


*maybe not forever but for the next few hours at least.

Whatever happened to just going to a pub or club and actually opening up a conversation and having an enjoyable evening.I don't get this dating app thing.

Well for me there are no pubs nearby. I'm in my 40's and can't be bothered with the clubbing scene anymore.
Apps are a way to get the initial conversation going while you think about whether you'd be interested enough to meet without being drunk or whatever.
Plus I'm really shy and don't do well when approached while out.
So apps help

It doesnt worry me.
I see the younger generation have already researched people who they reach out to on apps and already know all about them.
It just amuses me that they dont have the confidence to approach others and strike up a conversation.
I had some smooth moves on a night club dance floor and there are quite a few cracking tunes I got knocked back to.
